after the last wars of the Nez Perce, and after Chief Joseph surrseendered, life changed for Native Americans. They were molded into Christianity and lived on reservations and this has changed very little even into the 21 century. I painted the original in a folding album on rice paper in a traditional Chinese style. Enjoy.

The Pacific NW West was tamed by brave groups of people and i in this album i honor the Chinese people and the role they played in the it’s taming.
