bike wear facts Fabrics - Recycled PET Fabric blended with hemp. We only use recycled polyester gained out of PET bottles or other polyester fabrics.

This saves 75% energy and reduces 70% CO2 emission. Trough using recycled PET bottles and polyester fabrics we are saving lots of energy and CO2 emissions.

Recycling polyester instead of creating new polyester yarn, made out of oil, means 17x less air pollution. Advantage: Out of the recycled substances we gain perfect fast drying, breathable and abrasion-resistant yarns for our eco bike wear.

We have decided to blend hemp into our fabrics. Hemp is the best natural growing yarn-supply plant in the world. It is a fast growing plant that doesn‘t need chemicals: no fertilizer, no pesticides and no herbicides

Ventilation - Climbing a hill is exhausting and you feel heated up from the ride. Speeding downhill therefore can get very cold if you don‘t have the right gear. Many clothes can‘t regulate these temperature differences. We have developed a brand new ventilation system which allows a natural temperature regulation.

Style - The „Plastic look“ dominates todays bike wear style. triple2 wants to change this trend and move into a new direction. Besides being functional our bike wear is designed for going out in the city or hanging out with your friends.

Moisture smell reduction - The fabric we use prevents you actively from moisture smell: Moisture bacteria are beeing reduced to less than 1% due to the hemp in the fabric. This moisture smell reduction has been certified by the SDG. Organic cotton - Our additional casual wear is exclusively made out of organic cotton. Our supplier garanties us GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard) certified cotton for our casual wear.

company facts Renewable energy - triple2‘s aim is to build up and maintain a company with green roots. triple2 is an eco friendly company wanting to take responsibility and contribute to a sustainable development for our future. triple2 maintains the best possible production process for our environment. Besides ensuring that our production process is sustainable, triple2‘s offices will only work with sustainable office-equipment like energy saving computers, recycled paper and we use sustainable shipping with DHL go green. Further triple2 will only use renewable energy for all its electrical devices.

Myclimate - For some parts of our supply chain we cannot do without CO2 emissions. For these emissions we take the

advantage of the myclimate compensation project: We pay money for our CO2 emissions. This money then will be used for funding rainforest reforestation, wind parks and many other eco-projects.

Social Responsibility - triple2 will keep its production consistent with international labour rights, international social standards and the UN-convention against child labour. Trough our social policy we want to take our responsibility for a sustainable development which involves working together with partners who set up the highest standards for labour rights.

Our partners are employing only workers who are living next to the production factory. There is no childwork in our factorys at all. The workers also don‘t have to live in dormitory and are getting well payed for there work.

who we are Dipl.-Ing. Matthias Dreuw - Matthias has been working seven years in the mountainbike business, working for a big german mountainbike magazine. For several years he has been in charge of bike wear testing. Matthias knows all about bike wear: whats hot and whats not.

With his experience Matthias came up with the idea to create his own eco bike wear: The idea of triple2 - eco bike wear was born.

Julia studied communications and is working as a campaign manager for a big software company.

Besides loving all kinds of sports, Julia is an enthusiastic mountainbiker. She always has new ideas up her sleeves and provides great creative input to triple2 eco bike wear, especially for girls wear.
