John Lamkin

John is an award-winning travel journalist and photographer based in Taos, New Mexico. He also lives part-time in Oaxaca & Quintana Roo, Mexico. John founded FWT Magazine: food wine travel. He attended San Francisco Art Institute. He has been editor of FWT Magazine: food wine travel, Camerawork Quarterly, Music of the Spheres magazine and several newsletters John is readily available for assignment in the southwestern USA and Latin America and also other parts of the world with some lead time. He is a past member of International Food, Wine & Travel Writers Association where he served as a board member and Publication Committee Chair; the International Travel Writers Alliance; Travel Writers' Network, and Society of Professional Journalists.. In addition to his freelance work, John is a contributing writer for Luxury Latin America, Luxury Avenue, Examiner.com, Reuters America, Your Life Is A Trip, CityRoom Group and a columnist for The Syndicated News.
