Kaziranga national park: This national park located in Assam, is the only natural habitat for one horned rhinos in the world. It is India’s most visited wildlife abode. During monsoons this place is vulnerable to floods; hence it is inadvisable to visit during this period of time. Gir national park: This wildlife park is situated in Gujarat and it is the only place in India where you will find Asiatic lions. Other species which live in this park are spotted deer, chinkara and blue bull. The ideal time to witness these majestic beasts in their natural habitats is around October to June. Periyar National Park: It situated between the realms of Kerala and holds a record of only national park with artificial lake in India. Its main attractions are tiger, Nilgiri langur, barking deer, elephants and wild pigs.
