The happy birthday chocolate cake can be decorated with cake lace Ingredients required for delicious chocolate frosting in cake recipe is as followsFor cake• 1 cup cocoa powder • 2 cups hot water boiled • 1 cup unsalted and soft butter • 2 and half cups sugar • 4 eggs • 2 and three fourth cups flour • 2 and one fourth teaspoons baking soda • Salt pinch • 1 and half teaspoons vanilla essence For frosting• Semi sweet chips of chocolate -1 packet • Full cream with milk or half and half cream- half cup • Unsalted butter- ¾ cup • Icing sugar- 2 and half cups For decoration• 1 cup mixed fruit jam • 1 packet silver balls (edible) • 1 packet chocolate gems (colorful) Cake preparationSugar and eggs are whisked in deep bowl. Butter is added and little more of it is whisked to attain fluffy texture. There is addition of vanilla essence. Mix them well. Cocoa powder is dissolved in hot water that is boiling. Let the mixture cool. Add this mixture to egg-butter mixture. Little more amounts are whisked so as to get batter that is smooth. Mix ingredients that are dry in separate bowl. Then add ingredients dry to mix prepared in little amounts and little more is whisked to get batter of cake to required consistency dropping. 9” baking pan is greased. Batter in pan is poured. In preheated oven the batter is baked at 350F for 40 minutes. After time of baking, cake is removed from oven. Allow it to cool on wire rack. Frosting preparation for happy birthday chocolate cakeMelt the butter and chocolate chips on double boiler. Stir in icing sugar and cream after removal from hot temperature. Mix them well by whisking. Chocolate frosting is prepared. Cake assemblanceBefore assembling allow cake for complete cooling. Horizontal and middle cutting of cake is done. Bottom layer is placed on platter. A generous quantity of frosting is spread over layer and then cover along with top layer. Rest of frosting is spread on cake. Cover all sides with it.


Mixed jam of fruit is put in piping bag. Decorate sides and top of cake in desired designs. You can use chocolate gems and silver balls for covering sides and top of cake. Prepared cake is put in refrigerator for 2 hours for letting all things to set before relishing and serving.
