soundLINCS is a Section 11 compliant organisation in line with all requirements of Lincolnshire County Council and Lincolnshire Safeguarding Children Board; our facilitators have enhanced DBS certificates and are supported with ongoing CPD programmes. Prices Weekly sessions can be between 1-3 hours long. A one hour session costs £80, two hours are £120 and a three hour session is £155. For longer projects please contact us for a quote. Our fees include travel, administration and management of the project.

Music Technology  Production Using iPads and Apple Macs, the facilitator will help the participants develop their own melodies, rhythms and lyrics to put together songs that they can record and master. We can produce mp3 files (or for an additional cost cd’s can be made) so your group can take their tracks home to share with family and friends. This recording technology can be used in conjunction with our other workshops.

Rock Pop Alongside our facilitators, your group will learn to develop their playing techniques and performance skills to learn and rehearse their favourite music or develop their own songs. Using acoustic, electric and bass guitars with the accompaniment of drums and electric piano we can transform you into a band able to play your favourite songs!

Samba Using djembes, percussion, clapping, stamping, marches, and call and response, we can provide you with a fun and energetic workshop where your group will soon be able to layer a multitude of rhythms together to form a samba band or drumming circle. This workshop is suitable for all ages and abilities.

Junk Drumming Using items we would normally throw away, this workshop is eco-friendly music at its best showing how easy it is to assemble a band using the most unlikely objects. Junk drumming allows participants the chance to explore music making with un-traditional instruments to create new and exciting sounds. This can also be an opportunity for a group to create their own unique instruments.

Singing and Songwriting Budding singers and songwriters can develop their songwriting abilities and vocal techniques. There will be the opportunity to learn new songwriting techniques and the craft of lyric writing. Participants can also develop their vocal ability by exploring warm-ups, harmonies and how to project their voice. No previous experience or sight reading is needed.

Special educational needs ď€Śď€ sensory impairments All of the previously mentioned workshops can be adapted and tailored to suit the needs of your group. For those participants with additional needs we can provide access to specialist equipment and instruments such as a soundbeam, skoogs, Qchords and wheelchair accessible percussion instruments. Our facilitators have a wealth of experience working with special educational needs and sensory impairments

EARLY YEARS These fun and interactive workshops use a variety of songs and games to help children aged 0-5 discover the world of music. Led by our specialist Early Years facilitators, the sessions help develop motor, sensory and linguistic skills, build confidence, develop communication and increase confidence, as well as helping children better understand the world around them.
