removal – drilling with jump function - undercutting, the unit has become extremely easy to program.

Plus, should the required machining cycle not be found among the standard selections or prove more complex, the unit can be switched to sentence programming. The BEA 16 machining unit itself is a precision device from the SUHNER spindle machining unit series that has been designed for gruelling continuous use in multiple shift operations. The BEA 16 has a drilling capacity of 16 mm ø in 450 N/mm2 steel. The max feed path is 140 mm, and the max speed is 500 rpm.

Biodiesel is one of the most common alternative fuels in use today. Chemically named methyl esters, biodiesel is produced from various sources such as agricultural oils (soy, corn, canola, etc.), recycled cooking oil, and animal fats. Due to the reactive nature of biodiesel, consideration of seals and materials is needed when choosing a hose reel and plumbing. If the biodiesel concentration is B5 or less, the biodiesel will have such small affect that it will behave exactly as standard diesel where no special considerations are needed. For biodiesel concentrations of B5 or less, COXREELS recommends the use of their standard fueling reels (SHF or TSHF). For concentrations above B5, stainless steel plumbing should be used with Viton seals and non-sparking pawls.

1/2 NPT FullStream Liquid Nozzle for Cooling, Washing and Rinsing

This inexpensive and versatile nozzle offers the ideal solution for cooling, cleaning, washing, rinsing and dust suppression applications for industry. With a vaneless, tangential flow design, the FullStream has wide open internal features to resist clogging while simultaneously producing uniform distribution in a round pattern with medium to large droplets. The compact right-angle design operates at up to 250 PSIG liquid pressure, and functions seamlessly with liquids containing particulate.

With FullStream nozzles, the liquid is supplied directly into the body of the nozzle creating a swirling action within a vortex chamber. This vortex produces the desired spray pattern when the machined nozzle breaks the liquid surface tension, and exits the orifice in a round, controlled spray angle. Type 303 stainless steel construction provides durability and corrosion resistance, with operating temperatures up to 800 degrees Fahrenheit. New KUKA KR 6 SCARA Robot Boosts Electronics Production

To meet the growing automation needs of the electronics industry, among others, KUKA Robotics Corporation introduces its new KR 6 SCARA robot that further expands the company’s robust product portfolio. The new 4-axis robot is faster and lighter than traditional smaller 6-axis robots to provide manufacturers ease of use and significant increases in production speed. New 130mm Hydraulic Vise From Jergens Offers Increased Speed And Accuracy

The new vise comes standard with multiple mounting patterns, different jaw options and easy access to plumbing and maintenance ports. Jergens’ 130-millimeter hydraulic vise offers users the ability to position the jaws just outside of the dimension of the workpiece to minimize travel when clamping. This, in combination with the speed of hydraulic workholding, reduces clamping and unclamping operations to about one second. The ease of use of these double-acting vises allows users to repeat these time-saving operations, adding up to measurable machine uptime and productivity increases, especially for high mix, low volume manufacturers.

OnRobot's Out-Of-The-Box, Magnetic Gripper for Manufacturing, Automotive And Aerospace

OnRobot has launched the MG10, a versatile, high-performance, easy to use magnetic gripper for material handling, assembly and machine tending applications in manufacturing, automotive and aerospace environments. Fully compatible with all major robot brands through OnRobot’s One System Solution, the MG10 offers unique adjustable force and grip detection features that provide users with unprecedented levels of control.

Standard magnetic grippers only provide simple ON/OFF functionality. To adjust the force applied, users have to add rubber ‘feet’ to create space between the magnet and the part. This is a tedious and imprecise process that doesn’t always guarantee perfect results, especially on applications that involve handling thin metal sheets and small metal parts.
