To the Most Special Flower Girl We are so excited to have you play such an important role in our wedding! We know you will be so beautiful. With Love, Melissa & Brian
Victoria just heard the most exciting news. She was going to be a flower girl at a wedding! Victoria would be the bride’s special helper on her wedding day. It was a very important job for Victoria.
On the day of the wedding Victoria would wear a beautiful dress and walk down the aisle just before the bride. She would carry a basket of pretty flowers and sprinkle them over the aisle. Victoria couldn’t stop dreaming about how much fun being a flower girl would be!
Victoria tried on lots and lots of pretty dresses that swished and swashed around her.
Next, Victoria tried on fancy shoes and then twirled and danced in her wedding clothes. Victoria looked beautiful, and she felt very special.
Every day Victoria would look at her beautiful dress in her closet and practice walking down the aisle while sprinkling pretend flowers on her bedroom floor. The wedding was only a few days away!
The day before the wedding, there was a rehearsal. Victoria practiced walking down the aisle just like she had practiced at home. Everyone else in the wedding practiced their parts too.
On the day of the wedding, Victoria put on her beautiful dress and fancy shoes. Her hair was done up in ribbons and curls, and she wore sparkly jewelry. When she looked in the mirror, she thought she saw a princess!
Before the wedding, Victoria stood with the bride and her friends as a photographer took pictures. Victoria felt like a movie star with all of the camera lights flashing.
When it was time for the wedding to start, Victoria was nervous, but she knew that the bride was counting on her. So Victoria bravely walked the first few steps down the aisle. Everyone smiled as Victoria sprinkled her flowers over the aisle. Suddenly, Victoria wasn’t nervous anymore, she was having fun!
When the bride walked down the aisle, she looked very happy. Victoria was glad that she could be a part of her very important day. Victoria stood with the bridesmaids for the entire ceremony. Victoria felt very grown-up.
There was a big party after the wedding. The bride and groom danced to a romantic song. Victoria danced too! She twirled and jumped and danced in her beautiful dress all night long.
At the end of the evening, the bride gathered all of her friends for the bouquet toss. Victoria was there with the bouquet just in time. When the bride tossed her bouquet, Victoria tried to catch it!
When the celebration was over, the bride thanked Victoria for being the most special flower girl on her most special day. Victoria was so happy. It had been her most special day too!
