Thank You to Our Expansion Donors In order to better serve the Bay Area’s growing South Asian population, the South Asian Heart Center is opening new offices in Los Gatos, South San Jose, and Fremont. In preparation for this expansion, the Center intends to develop physician and community relations and create outreach events in these areas. The 3-year cost to expand is $4.3 million. El Camino Hospital has already commited $1.95 million. An additional $250K is expected from grants and participant fees. In order to close the $2.1 million gap, we must raise additional funds through leadership gifts and proceeds from the annual gala. This will cover the costs of new office space, increased health education, coordination, and analytics staff, and marketing outreach to the community.
