General FAQs Q. How do I download the new App?
To download the FREE South Downs Leisure App go to either the App Store (Apple Devices) or the Google Play Store (Android devices) and search ‘South Downs Leisure’ from Tuesday 19th March.
Q. Do I have to be a member to book activities?
From 19th March, anyone who wishes to book facilities online, via the app, or in-house will need to register an account with us. This will only take a minute and you’ll only need to do it once. You’ll then be able to book and pay for your sessions and classes much more easily.
Q. How do I login?
You can login and use the new system via the App or from our website. The first time you do this you will need to create your account. To do this you will just need to pop in some contact details and create a profile. Members will then have the option to link this to their membership.
Q. Will I be able to book swimming online?
Yes. You will now be able to book and pay for all casual swimming at Splashpoint Leisure Centre before you arrive.
Q. How far in advance can I book?
Apart from the days during the switchover (see inside) where advance booking time will be limited, you will still have 7 days to book your classes and activities. Non-members will still have 3 days to book. Bookings will open at 6am as usual.
Q. Can I cancel my bookings online?
Yes, cancellations can be made via the app or website, provided they are within the cancellation period specified for the activity or class you have booked.
Q. Will there be waiting lists for full classes?
Yes, you will be able to add yourself to a waiting list, when a space becomes available you will be notified via email, the free space will then be allocated on a first come first served basis.
