MONDAY MENTION

Nicole Bradham, Class of 2017 Nicole Bradham graduated from Southeastern University in 2017 with a Master in Business Administration. When Nicole moved to Lakeland in 2015, she and her family immediately fell in love with the community here. They have coached with the Lakeland Tropics Youth Soccer League and their two boys are involved in martial arts. Nicole is very involved with several local organizations in Lakeland, such as ProAm, Light Up Lakeland, EMERGE Lakeland, and LVIM. Currently, Nicole works as the COO for Tampa Contractor Group, which is a general contractor that provides home renovation services to commercial and residential customers. She also owns Mindset Marketing & Consulting. Here she serves female business owners by helping them increase their online presence through social media marketing, email campaigns, website development, and overall business coaching. Mindset Marketing allows Nicole to serve women in the community as they navigate their entrepreneurial journey. Below is a photo of Nicole with two of her clients at Mindset Marketing. Nicole is also a part of the Florida Carry the Torch team with our very own Southeastern Alumni Association. These state level teams help alumni stay connected across the nation.

Nicole says that SEU prepared her for her current role as a consultant in many ways. "The classroom provided a growth mindset for my entrepreneurial journey. Each of my professors took the time to learn about the students in our class. When they found out I was a business owner at the beginning of my journey, they found examples within the lesson to relate to business ownership. I appreciated it and felt special because of it. Dr. Plastow was especially good about this in our accounting class." Nicole still has fond memories of her time at Southeastern: "One of my favorite memories was when the students in the Global Business program came back from their mission trip and shared their experiences with us. I also remember praying before each class and feeling how that unified the students and allowed us to feel closer to our professor. I also really enjoyed the capstone course (an online, competitive business simulation where students group into teams to compete against each other’s companies). I also made some great friends that I still have today." Overall, Nicole grew personally and professionally at Southeastern, which has changed her life forever. Thank you, Nicole, for helping us Carry the Torch!
