Southeastern University
Meeting the need. Southeastern University is committed to making higher education accessible to families no matter their financial situation. There are a variety of financial aid resources to help students cover educational expenses, including federal and state grants, loan and work programs; and academic, need-based, and performance-based institutional scholarships and grants.
How to apply for Financial Aid in four easy steps… 1. Complete and submit your application for admission to Southeastern University. 2. As soon as a student is accepted for admission, eligibility for the Chancellor’s, President’s, Regent’s, Southeastern and Transfer Scholarships will be determined based on the availability of remaining funds.
3. Complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) by logging into www.fafsa.ed.gov. The Southeastern priority deadline for submitting a FAFSA is April 15. As you complete the application, indicate that you want your financial aid analysis information sent to Southeastern University (the SEU FAFSA Code is 001521). Upon receipt of your FAFSA information from the Federal Processor, you will receive an e-mail from SEU with login instructions to a web portal where you can track your financial aid status and missing items. The information you provide on the FAFSA will be processed to determine your eligibility for all financial awards, grants, work-study, and loans. It is important to have completed your family’s most recent income tax returns before you complete the FAFSA.
4. Upon completion of the above steps, Southeastern will send you an award letter outlining the amount and types of awards you are eligible to receive. Southeastern University does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national and ethnic origin, or handicap, with regards to admission and employment policies, the educational, financial aid, or other programs and privileges to students at the university.
