Thank you for your interest in Judson College! I believe our college is unrivaled as the best four-year confessional Christian school because of how it uniquely combines rigorous academic and professional training with deep biblical and theological formation — all in service of King Jesus. At Judson College, our students don’t have to choose between a quality education and their Christian convictions. Judson College is known as a Great Commission school. Why? Because our mission is to equip students to give their lives for the cause of Christ in the church, among the nations, and in every aspect of society — wherever God calls them.
The Judson community of students, staff, and faculty are all committed to this same mission. This makes Judson College a deeply formative place where students forge lasting Christian friendships, learn from experienced and faithful professors, and gain access to opportunities for ministry and service around the world.
We are also committed to equipping students to serve the Lord with their minds and to flourish as leaders in their careers and ministries. We help students understand their history, practice good research, engage with competing worldviews, and excel professionally. We do so because we want to see men and women holistically equipped to honor Christ in every area of life.
Adoniram Judson, our college’s namesake, modeled well how to love the Lord with one’s heart and mind. Judson was a brilliant student and was in line to take over a prestigious church, but he leveraged that training and giftedness for the cause of Christ — to get the gospel to the unreached.
That’s what we want for our students — to see them deeply formed and equipped to leverage their training and giftedness to serve King Jesus.
As you consider your next steps, my prayer is that you would be in the center of God’s “good, pleasing, and perfect will” (Rom. 12:2). If that brings you to Judson College, I promise this: We will love you, serve you, and prepare you well for whatever God calls you to do.
Daniel Akin President, Senior Professor of Preaching and Theology, Ed Young, Sr. Chair of Preaching
Judson College exists to equip students to give their lives for the cause of Christ in the church, among the nations, and in every aspect of society.
IN THE CHURCH
Answering God’s call to local church ministry requires preparation. We equip students to serve the local church by training them to preach God’s word, lead with integrity, and mobilize churches in greater faithfulness to Jesus and his mission.
AMONG THE NATIONS
Reaching the nations is all about Jesus. We equip students to walk closely with Jesus and to share him cross-culturally, evangelizing the lost, making disciples, and teaching God’s word wherever he sends them.
IN EVERY ASPECT OF SOCIETY
Following Jesus makes our home, our work, and our city a mission field. We equip students biblically, theologically, and professionally to make disciples of King Jesus wherever they are called.
WHO WE ARE
We believe there is no greater task to call students to than devoting their lives to Christ and his mission. Because Christ calls men and women to leverage their lives in a variety of ways to advance his kingdom, we equip students with a biblical worldview to make disciples in every career and in any context.
As a school of Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary, Judson College offers accredited 4-year degrees that combine the best of a conservative biblical and theological education with professional training in a vibrant Christian community. Wherever you are called, Judson College has a degree that’s right for you.
Judson College is the undergraduate school of Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. Through Judson, Southeastern provides quality Christian education at the undergraduate level as part of its mission to equip students to serve the church and fulfill the Great Commission. Named after pioneering Baptist missionary Adoniram Judson, Judson College embodies the same Great Commission spirit that characterized Judson’s life-long ministry.

Shortly after his conversion, Adoniram Judson discerned his call to international missions alongside several of his classmates at seminary. At Judson College, we want you too to discern your calling and prepare for a lifetime of disciple making in a strong Christian community. Through the courses, relationships, and culture you experience here at Judson College, you will be well equipped to serve Jesus wherever he calls you. College was a pivotal time in my life. It was during those four years that I felt like my faith became my own as I experienced God drawing me towards his calling on my life. I am excited to be a part of equipping the next generation of leaders like you, and I am particularly excited about doing that at Judson College. We have a top-shelf curriculum, a world-class faculty, and godly leaders, and it is an honor to serve you and be a part of what is happening on this campus. So, as you discern your next steps, I encourage you to join us and experience what Judson College has to offer!
Seth Bible Vice President for Undergraduate Studies, Dean of Judson College, Assistant Professor of Ethics
“My time here at Judson College taught me how to defend my faith and theology well, how to love others well as I seek to push them towards truth, and how to be confident in sharing the gospel with those who do not know Christ. At Judson College, I learned to read and interpret Scripture more faithfully, which has enabled me to teach others the truth of the Bible and how to interpret it. I have now been able to do these things with siblings, lost coworkers, and college and high school students outside of Judson.”
“We are committed to a holistic and formative education experience so that when students complete their time at Judson College, they will earnestly love God, love the truth, love the Church, and love the world. Our goal is to produce graduates who are firmly grounded in the truth, thoroughly trained in the field, and spiritually prepared to engage the world on mission for Christ.”
Dr. Scott Pace
Provost, Dean of Graduate Studies, Professor of Preaching and Pastoral Ministry
CALLING
In Service of Christ, Wherever He Calls
At Judson College, we know you have a heart to serve Jesus wherever he calls. We’ll help you get there with degrees for local church ministry, international missions, and the workplace — degrees that will equip you to make disciples no matter your career.
You will be firmly grounded in the truth of God’s word, academically equipped in your field of study, and spiritually prepared to fulfill the Great Commission wherever he has you serve.
“I have learned during my time at Judson College that if I truly have faith in Jesus Christ and want to live in obedience to his calling on my life, then his calling must infiltrate every aspect of who I am and how I am living. It must guide my conversations, stir my thoughts to holiness, and impact my relationships.”
Kilby Helms
Alumna of Judson College, Bachelor of Arts in Global Studies, and certificate in Teaching English as a Second Language
Our confessional statements, the Abstract of Principles and the Baptist Faith & Message 2000, affirm the Bible as the authoritative word of God. The Scriptures serve as the foundational text for all we do at Judson College.
CONFESSIONS
Judson College is a confessional, Great Commission school that is firmly committed to the authority, inerrancy, infallibility, and sufficiency of God’s word. Scripture is the foundation of our curriculum, and it motivates and constrains everything we do, teach, and affirm.
As a confessional institution, we affirm four doctrinal statements that we believe faithfully reflect the teachings of Scripture: The Baptist Faith & Message 2000, the Abstract of Principles, the Chicago Statement on Biblical Inerrancy, and the Danvers Statement on Biblical Manhood and Womanhood.
All of our professors commit to teach — without hesitation or mental reservation — in accordance with and not contrary to these statements of faith, ensuring that you can have confidence in the education you will receive at Judson College.
“The faculty at Judson College consists of outstanding scholars who believe every word of the Bible. Plus, in each class students see their professor’s love for Jesus, love for the Church, and commitment to take the gospel to the nations.”
Dr. Allan Moseley Senior Professor of Old Testament and Hebrew, Associate Dean of Biblical Studies

COMMUNITY COMMUNITY COMMUNITY COMMUNITY COMMUNITY COMMUNITY COMMUNITY
Judson College’s student-led house system is an opportunity for you to build lifelong friendships, live on mission together, and become more like Jesus alongside one another.
COMMUNITY
Bringing Jesus into every aspect of community.
The House System is the center of student life at Judson College. Students are placed into one of five houses, where they learn, grow, and build Christ-centered community together.
The House System consists of five houses — Brainerd, Elliott, Fuller, Liele, and Schaeffer. The five houses are named after heroes of the faith, David Brainerd, Larry & Jean Elliott, Andrew Fuller, George Liele, and Francis Schaeffer.

HOUSE SYSTEM
Competitions
Throughout the academic year, houses compete in a variety of events, and each house hosts one competition per year. These competitions culminate in the House Tournament — a two-day event involving literature, art, trivia, and a field day. The winning House is awarded the House Cup.
Calibrate
Calibrate is a time of worship for Judson College to come together and remember why they are pursuing a life of service to Christ. These worship nights are meant to glorify God; unify the students; and worship Christ through music, Scripture, testimonies, and other creative expressions. Each house hosts one Calibrate a year.
College Fall Retreat
Every fall, the House System steps away from campus for a weekend of teaching, worship, rest, and retreat. Each house is invited to come and enjoy Judson’s community in a new context. Houses pile into vans and head out to that year’s destination on Friday and return Sunday afternoon.
PEER-LED COMMUNITY
Student leadership has five positions in each house, impacting daily life from house culture to dorm living.
Chancellor: Leader of the house
Male and Female Fellow: RAs/Catalysts for Great Commission living
Regent: Cultivator of community through communication
Scholar: Guide to inspire a love for learning
“The saying ‘every classroom, a Great Commission classroom’ was certainly true in every class that I took. Whether it was a theology class or a science class, the implication of every class was to go — no matter where you are, go and make disciples!”
Ashish Bhandari Bachelor of Arts in Theology, Advanced Master of Divinity
“My very first year, the female fellow of my house was so impactful on my spiritual walk and even mentored me the following year. I learned from her and the other house members around me how to serve others. I was also shown the importance of the local church and how to balance making church a priority and having time for college too.”

Once your transcript has been sent to our admissions office, you can request an unofficial transcript evaluation from your admissions counselor to see how classes will potentially transfer for your desired degree.
When is the application deadline?
