SANTA CLAUS IS COMING TO TOWN
You better watch out You better not cry Better not pout I’m telling you why Santa Claus is coming to town
He’s making a list And checking it twice He’s gonna find out who’s naughty or nice Santa Claus is coming to town
He sees you when you’re sleeping He knows when you’re awake He knows if you’ve been bad or good So be good for goodness sake Repeat Chorus
He sees you when you’re sleeping He knows when you’re awake He knows if you’ve been bad or good So be good for goodness sake Repeat Chorus
RUDOLPH
Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer Had a very shiny nose And if you ever saw it You would even say it glows
All of the other reindeer Used to laugh and call him names They never let poor Rudolph Join in any reindeer games
Then one foggy Christmas Eve Santa came to say Rudolph with your nose so bright Won’t you guide my sleigh tonight
Then how the reindeer loved him
As they shouted out with glee Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer You’ll go down in history You’ll go down in history
SIX WHITE BOOMERS
Early on one Christmas Day a Joey kangaroo, Was far from home and lost in a great big zoo. ‘Mummy, where’s my mummy? They’ve taken her away.’ We’ll help you find your mummy, son. Hop up on the sleigh.’ Up beside the bag of toys little Joey hopped, But they hadn’t gone far when Santa stopped. Unharnessed all the reindeer and Joey wondered why, Then he heard a far off booming in the sky.
Six white boomers, snow white boomers, Racing Santa Claus through the blazing sun. Six white boomers, snow white boomers, On his Australian run.
Pretty soon old Santa began to feel the heat, Took his fur lined boots off to cool his feet, Into one popped Joey, feeling quite okay, While those old man Kangaroos kept pulling on the sleigh.
Six white boomers, snow white boomers, Racing Santa Claus through the blazing sun. Six white boomers, snow white boomers, On his Australian run.
Joey said to Santa, ‘Santa, what about the toys? Aren’t you leaving some to these girls and boys?’ ‘They’ve got all their presents, son, we were here last night, this trip is an extra trip, Joey’s special flight.’
Six white boomers, snow white boomers, Racing Santa Claus through the blazing sun. Six white boomers, snow white boomers, On his Australian run.
Soon the sleigh was flashing past right over Marble Bar, ‘Slow down there, ‘ cried Santa, ‘it can’t be far, Come up on my lap here, son, and have a look around.’ ‘There she is, that’s mummy, bounding up and down.’
Six white boomers, snow white boomers, Racing Santa Claus through the blazing sun. Six white boomers, snow white boomers, On his Australian run.
Well that’s the bestest Christmas treat that Joey ever had, Curled up in mother’s pouch feeling snug and glad. The last they saw was Santa heading northwards from the sun, The only year the boomers worked a double run.
Six white boomers, snow white boomers, Racing Santa Claus through the blazing sun. Six white boomers, snow white boomers, On his Australian run.
RUN RUN RUDOLPH
Out of all the reindeers you know you are the mastermind Run, run Rudolph, Randolph ain’t too far behind Run, run Rudolph, Santa’s gotta make it to town Santa, make him hurry, tell him he can take the freeway down Run, run Rudolph ‘cause I’m reelin’ like a merry-go-round
Said Santa to a boy child, “What have you been longin’ for?” “All I want for Christmas is a rock ‘n’ roll ‘lectric guitar” And then away went Rudolph whizzin’ like a shootin’ star
Run, run Rudolph, Santa has to make it in town Santa, make him hurry, tell him he can take the freeway down Run, run Rudolph, reelin’ like a merry-go-round
Run, run Rudolph, Santa’s gotta make it to town Santa, make him hurry, tell him he can take the freeway down Run, run Rudolph, I’m reelin’ like a merry-go-round
Said Santa to a girl child, “What would please you most to get?” “A little baby doll that can cry, sleep, drink and wet” And then away went Rudolph, whizzin’ like a Saber jet
Run, run Rudolph, Santa’s gotta make it to town
Santa, make him hurry, tell him he can take the freeway down Run, run Rudolph I’m reelin’ like a merry-go-round
WHEN CHRISTMAS COMES TO TOWN
I’m wishing on a star And trying to believe That even though it’s far He’ll find me Christmas Eve I guess that Santa’s busy ‘Cause he’s never come around I think of him when Christmas comes to town
The best time of the year
When everyone comes home With all this Christmas cheer It’s hard to be alone Putting up the Christmas tree With friends that come around It’s so much fun when Christmas comes to town
Presents for the children wrapped in red and green
All the things I’ve heard about but never really seen No one will be sleeping on the night of Christmas Eve Hoping Santa’s on his way
Presents for the children wrapped in red and green
All the things I’ve heard about but never really seen No one will be sleeping on the night of Christmas Eve Hoping Santa’s on his way
When Santa’s sleigh bells ring I listen all around The herald angels sing I never hear a sound And all the dreams of the children Once lost will all be found That’s all I want when Christmas comes to town That’s all I want when Christmas comes to town

The First Noel the angel did say Was to certain poor shepherds In fields as they lay In fields as they lay, keeping their sheep On a cold winter’s night that was so deep.
Noel, Noel, Noel, Noel, Born is the King of Israel.
They looked up and saw a star Shining in the east beyond them far, And to the earth it gave great light, And so it continued both day and night.
And by the light of that same star Three wise men came from country far; To seek for a king was their intent, And to follow the star wherever it went.
This star drew nigh to the northwest, O’er Bethlehem it took it rest, And there it did both stop and stay Right over the place where Jesus lay.
Then entered in those wise men three Full reverently upon their knee, and offered there in his presence Their gold, and myrrh, and frankincense.
Then let us all with one accord Sing praises to our heavenly Lord; That hath made heaven and earth of naught, And with his blood mankind hath bought
AWAY IN A MANGER
Away in a manger, no crib for a bed, The little Lord Jesus laid down his sweet head.
The stars in the bright sky looked down where he lay, The little Lord Jesus asleep in the hay.
The cattle are lowing, the baby awakes, But little Lord Jesus no crying he makes.
I love thee, Lord Jesus, look down from the sky And stay by my cradle ‘til morning is nigh.
Be near me, Lord Jesus, I ask thee to stay Close by me forever, and love me, I pray.
Bless all the dear children in thy tender care, And take us to heaven, to live with thee there.
IT’S BEGINNING TO LOOK A LOT LIKE CHRISTMAS
It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas Everywhere you go Take a look at the five and ten, it’s glistening once again With candy canes and silver lanes that glow
It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas Toys in every store But the prettiest sight to see is the holly that will be On your own front door
A pair of Hopalong boots and a pistol that shoots Is the wish of Barney and Ben Dolls that’ll talk and will go for a walk Is the hope of Janice and Jen And Mom and Dad can hardly wait for school to start again
It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas Everywhere you go There’s a tree in the Grand Hotel, one in the park as well It’s the sturdy kind that doesn’t mind the snow
It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas
Soon the bells will start And the thing that’ll make ‘em ring is the carol that you sing
Right within your heart
It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas Toys in every store But the prettiest sight to see is the holly that will be On your own front door
Sure, it’s Christmas once more
JINGLE BELLS
Dashing through the snow One a one horse open sleigh Over the fields we go, Laughing all the way Bells on bob tail ring Making spirits bright What fun it is to laugh and sing A sleighing song tonight
Oh, jingle bells, jingle bells Jingle all the way Oh what fun it is to ride In a one horse open sleigh Jingle bells, jingle bells Jingle all the way Oh what fun it is to ride In a one horse open sleigh
I’LL BE HOME FOR CHRISTMAS
I’ll be home for Christmas You can plan on me Please have snow and mistletoe And presents by the tree
Christmas Eve will find me Where the love light gleams I’ll be home for Christmas If only in my dreams
I’ll be home for Christmas You can plan on me Please have some snow and mistletoe And presents by the tree
Christmas Eve will find me Where the love light gleams I’ll be home for Christmas If only in my dreams
I’ll be home for Christmas If only in my dreams
WINTER WONDERLAND
Sleigh bells ring, are you listenin’? In the lane, snow is glistenin’ A beautiful sight We’re happy tonight Walkin’ in a winter wonderland
Gone away is the bluebird Here to stay is a new bird To sing a love song While we stroll along Walkin’ in a winter wonderland
In the meadow, we can build a snowman We’ll pretend that he is Parson Brown He’ll say, “Are ya married?” We’ll say, “No, man But you can do the job when you’re in town”
Later on, we’ll conspire As we dream by the fire To face unafraid Plans that we’ve made Walking in a winter wonderland
In the meadow, we can build a snowman We’ll pretend that he is Parson Brown He’ll say, “Are ya ready?” We’ll say, “No, man But you can do the job when you’re in town”
Later on, we’ll conspire
As we dream by the fire
To face unafraid The plans that we’ve made Walkin’ in a winter wonderland
Walkin’ in a winter wonderland Walkin’ in a winter wonderland

WHITE CHRISTMAS
I’m dreaming of a white Christmas Just like the ones I used to know Where the tree tops glisten And children listen To hear sleigh bells in the snow, oh, the snow
I said, I’m dreaming of a white Christmas With every Christmas card I write May your days be merry and bright And may all your Christmas’ be white (Let’s go, sticks, let’s go)
I said, I’m dreaming of a white, oh, Christmas
Just like the ones I used to know Where the tree tops glisten And the children listen To hear sleigh bells in the snow
I’m dreaming of a white Christmas With every Christmas card I write May your days, may your days, may your days Be merry and bright And may all your Christmases be white (Come on now, woo) (J-man, up, up, up)
I’m dreaming of a white Christmas With every Christmas card I write May your days be merry and bright And may all your Christmases be white
MARY DID YOU KNOW
Mary, did you know that your baby boy Would one day walk on water? Mary, did you know that your baby boy Would save our sons and daughters? Did you know that your baby boy Has come to make you new? This child that you delivered, will soon deliver you
Mary, did you know that your baby boy Will give sight to a blind man? Mary, did you know that your baby boy Will calm the storm with his hand?
Did you know that your baby boy Has walked where angels trod? When you kiss your little baby You kiss the face of God
Mary, did you know? Mary, did you know? Mary, did you know? Did you know? Mary, did you know? Mary, did you know? Mary, did you know? Mary, did you know? Mary, did you know? Mary, did you know?
The blind will see, the deaf will hear The dead will live again The lame will leap, the dumb will speak The praises of the Lamb
Mary, did you know that your baby boy
Is Lord of all creation?
Mary, did you know that your baby boy Would one day rule the nations?
Did you know that your baby boy
Is heaven’s perfect Lamb? That sleeping child you’re holding is the great, I Am
Mary, did you know? (Mary, did you know?) Mary, did you know? (Mary, did you know?) Mary, did you know? Oh
SILENT NIGHT
Silent night, holy night All is calm, all is bright Round yon virgin, mother and child Holy infant so tender and mild Sleep in heavenly peace Sleep in heavenly peace
Silent night, holy night Shepherds quake at the sight Glories stream from heaven afar Heavenly hosts sing Alleluia Christ the Saviour is born Christ the Saviour is born
Silent night, holy night Son of God love’s pure light Radiant beams from thy holy face With dawn of redeeming grace Jesus Lord, at thy birth Jesus Lord, at thy birth
CHRISTMAS FOR COWBOYS
Tall in the saddle, we spend Christmas Day
Driving the cattle over snow covered plains All of the good gifts given today Ours is the sky and the wide open range
Back in the cities, they have different ways Football and eggnog and Christmas parades I’ll take my blanket, I’ll take the reins It’s Christmas for cowboys and wide open plains
A campfire for warmth as we stop for the night
The stars overhead are Christmas tree lights The wind sings a hymn as we bow down to pray It’s Christmas for cowboys, wide open plains
It’s tall in the saddle, we spend Christmas Day Driving the cattle over snow covered plains So many gifts have been opened today Ours is the sky and the wide open range It’s Christmas for cowboys and wide open plains
LET’S MAKE A BABY KING
…
Once upon a Christmas morning There was a pretty little baby boy It seems like I remember sadness Mingling in the joy For Mary saw the future And the sadness it would bring And that’s when Mary started crying When she heard the angels sing
… Let’s make a baby king Let’s make him Lord of all Let’s give him everything Let’s make a baby king
… Now, you remember little King David He’s the little baby? kin He’s cousin to the man named John And I know you all remember him And John said, “Let’s get ready!”
The herald angels sing Cause this old world needs to know The good news that I bring
… Let’s make a baby king Let’s make him Lord of all Let’s give him everything Let’s make a baby king
… Now we could use a revolution
The world is turned upside down We need a new direction We’ve got to turn this whole thing around And we need a Lord to guide us Teach us wrong and right And we need a lamb to lead us Into the land of light
O COME ALL YE FAITHFUL O come, all ye faithful, Joyful and triumphant, O come ye, O come ye to Bethlehem. Come and behold him, Born the King of Angels.
O come, let us adore him, O come, let us adore him, O come, let us adore him, Christ the Lord.
Sing, alleluia, All ye choirs of angels; O sing, all ye blissful ones of heaven above. Glory to God In the highest glory.
O come, let us adore him, O come, let us adore him, O come, let us adore him, Christ the Lord.
Yea, Lord, we greet thee, Born this happy morning; Jesus, to thee be the glory given Word of the father, Now in the flesh appearing,
O come, let us adore him, O come, let us adore him, O come, let us adore him, Christ the Lord.
LAST CHRISTMAS
Last Christmas I gave you my heart But the very next day you gave it away This year, to save me from tears I’ll give it to someone special
Last Christmas I gave you my heart But the very next day you gave it away This year, to save me from tears I’ll give it to someone special
Once bitten and twice shy I keep my distance, but you still catch my eye Tell me baby, do you recognize me? Well, it’s been a year, it doesn’t surprise me
Happy Christmas, I wrapped it up and sent it With a note saying “I love you”, I meant it Now I know what a fool I’ve been But if you kissed me now, I know you’d fool me again
Last Christmas I gave you my heart But the very next day you gave it away This year, to save me from tears I’ll give it to someone special
Last Christmas I gave you my heart But the very next day you gave it away This year, to save me from tears I’ll give it to someone special
A crowded room, friends with tired eyes I’m hiding from you and your soul of ice My God, I thought you were someone to rely on Me? I guess I was a shoulder to cry on
A face on a lover with a fire in his heart A man under cover, but you tore me apart Oh, oh now I’ve found a real love You’ll never fool me again
Last Christmas I gave you my heart
But the very next day you gave it away This year, to save me from tears I’ll give it to someone special, special
Last Christmas I gave you my heart
But the very next day you gave it away This year, to save me from tears I’ll give it to someone special
A face on a lover with a fire in his heart (I gave you mine)
A man under cover but you tore him apart Maybe next year I’ll give it to someone I’ll give it to someone special
ROCKIN AROUND THE CHRISTMAS TREE
Rocking around the Christmas Tree
At the Christmas party hop Mistletoe hung where you can see Every couple tries to stop
You will get a sentimental feeling when you hear voices singing “Let’s be jolly; Deck the halls with boughs of holly”
Rocking around the Christmas Tree Have a happy holiday Everyone’s dancing merrily In a new old fashioned way
Rocking around the Christmas tree Let the Christmas spirit ring Later we’ll have some pumpkin pie And we’ll do some carolling
You will get a sentimental feeling when you hear voices singing “Let’s be jolly; Deck the halls with boughs of holly”
Rocking around the Christmas tree Have a happy holiday Everyone’s dancing merrily In a new old fashioned way
SILVER BELLS
Well, my friends, just as you can be sure That Christmas falls on the 25th of December every year
So can you be sure that we are going to have Christmas songs So while the holiday song seasons’ in full swing I’d like to offer my own musical salute to Santa Claus Bring out those silver birds written
City sidewalks, busy sidewalks, dressed in holiday style In the air there’s a feeling of Christmas Children laughing, people passing, meeting smile after smile And on every street corner you hear
Silver bells, silver bells
It’s Christmas time in the city Ring a ling, hear them ring Soon it’ll be Christmas day
Silver bells, silver bells It’s Christmas time in the city Ring a ling, hear them ring Soon it’ll be Christmas day
HAVE YOURSELF A MERRY LITTLE CHRISTMAS Have yourself a merry little Christmas Let your heart be light From now on Our troubles will be out of sight Have yourself a merry little Christmas Make the Yule-tide gay From now on Our troubles will be miles away
Here we are as in olden days Happy golden days of yore Faithful friends who are dear to us Gather near to us once more
Through the years we all will be together If the fates allow Hang a shining star upon the highest bough And have yourself a merry little Christmas now
O holy night
The stars are brightly shining It is the night of the dear Saviour’s birth Long lay the world in sin and error pining Till he appeared and the soul felt its worth. A thrill of hope the weary soul rejoices For yonder breaks a new and glorious morn.
Fall on your knees
Oh hear the angel voices Oh night divine Oh night when Christ was born Oh night divine Oh night divine
UNTO YOU THIS NIGHT
On a night so long ago
By the light of one bright star Two weary travelers far from Galilee Took refuge in a stable
Where a little child was born To bring the gift of love to you and me When the angels told the shepherds of His birth There came a great rejoicing on the earth
And they sang, glory to God in the highest Dawning that first Christmas morn Peace on earth and tidings of great joy For unto you this night a child is born
And, lo, these many years since then That ancient star still guides us And now again our Christmas voices ring Blessed we are and safe at home
With loved ones here beside us And in the still and silent night we sing How the angels told the shepherds of His birth And there came a great rejoicing on the earth
And they sang, glory to God in the highest Dawning that first Christmas morn Peace on earth and tidings of great joy For unto you this night a child is born
