After 4 years of being known as Weston & Christy Hinson this dynamic music family has decided to adopt a new moniker…THE HINSON FAMILY!! Holding true to their heritage with the Original Hinsons, this iteration of Hinson Family Music is dedicated to dynamic performances and pioneering original music. Above all else is that Holy Ghost centered singing that leaves listeners with a hope and a feeling of revival with each and every concert experience. “We are not claiming to be The Original Hinsons…there will never ever be another Original Hinsons. However we aim to build upon the foundation that was left to us from our family heritage and learn from there expertise, hard work, and dedication.” There are those that have asked the question of The Hinson Family, “do you perform the Original Hinsons songs?” Weston responds, “Certainly. I believe that will always be a part of who I am. I fully embrace who I am…being the son of a legend like Kenny Hinson comes with certain obligations,” he said with a smile. “However, the real way to pay homage to the legacy left to us is continue to pioneer fresh and new music that inspires generations to come.” The Hinson Family’s future is bright with the anointed writing of Christy Hinson. Weston and their daughter Jordan are also writers with Weston co-writing with his wife Christy and Jordan beginning to win many people over with her heart felt writing style. A brand new project, full of brand new and original material, is coming this summer from The Hinson Family as fans and all listeners alike are sure to be eagerly anticipating the release.

My beautiful Mother, Juanita Gainey Scarboro who took her heavenly flight on March 17, 1996. She was a pastor’s wife, a mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was the sweetest and most kind person I have ever known and to have been blessed to call her Mother was the greatest blessing of all. She had a smile that would light up a room and laughter that filled the air. My greatest memory of my Mother was hearing her pray. She was a prayer warrior and she would go to her bedroom, close the door and get on her knees. There you could hear her praying the sweetest prayers and she would call each of her children by name and ask God to bless them and their families...and for those that were not saved, that Jesus would save them and she would see all her children in heaven. She left behind precious memories and she was the example of love and a wonderful Christian lady. She is gone from here but never forgotten. I often long to hear my mother pray and her sweet voice singing once again…. I love you Mother…...Happy Mother’s Day. I will share some pictures from my private collection of my family and I am so proud to be a mother of a beautiful daughter, Michelle . She has given me two of the most precious granddaughters…. I have many blessings in my life…..but these are the best I have ever had..

For nine years I wanted a child of my own. Friends and family around me were celebrating the births of beautiful babies. I wanted to hold my own child. Years went by. No babies. Finally I made an appointment with a fertility specialist. Prayers upon prayers were lifted up. Oh how I ached to carry my own child. Week after week, I cried on the way home from the hospital lab…no pregnancy. Eventually my doctor sat me down and talked to me. It was time to send me to yet another fertility specialist; he would have his receptionist make the appointment. Before I would agree, I requested one more pregnancy test. I don’t know why that last pregnancy test was so important to me….it just was. I couldn’t explain it. My doctor humored me. Two hours later, I burst back into his office, ran down the hallway and wrapped my arms around his neck – to the astonishment of the patient he was escorting out. “I AM PREGNANT!” I exclaimed! The next nine months were magical! I read every book about pregnancy and infants I could get my hands on. I relished every symptom of pregnancy. Was even thrilled the few times I experienced morning sickness. I believe I was the happiest pregnant woman I’d ever met! Finally, the anxiously awaited moment arrived! I was being induced for labor! Seventeen LONG hours later, I delivered my very own beautiful baby boy. I can’t tell you how blessed and incredibly awesome it was when I finally held my child close to my chest, gently kissing his little face. I was told that due to the complications I’d had getting pregnant, that another pregnancy would most likely not happen. While I was a bit disappointed, I still celebrated and thanked God for the miracle I held in my arms. Six years went by. I watched my baby grow, learn to crawl, talk, walk, run, play…. He loved tires, trucks and tractors. Keeping my son clean was nearly impossible. He was so busy, so excited about life. He had places to go, people to see and things to do. Wintertime came. Many people were getting sick with cold/flu-like symptoms. I prayed that my son wouldn’t get it when I came down with the first symptoms. Oh, golly, I was sick, and worse, I couldn’t seem to get over it. My energy was zapped. I

had little to no appetite. I felt miserable. Weeks went by. Finally a friend asked me if I could be pregnant. Pregnant? What? NO WAY! I was NOT pregnant! I’d know it if I was pregnant! Besides, the doctors had agreed, the chances of me getting pregnant again were slim to none. Another week went by. A worried week. I finally went to the local drug store and purchased a pregnancy test. I waited until the next morning to take it. I remember loosing my breath as I watched the test turn positive. I was shocked and convinced it was wrong! So I took the other test that was in the box. I was PREGNANT! This pregnancy was so different from my first. My first was prayed for, prayed over, prayed thru and all around. I was so very thankful to God. But this one? Oh my. What was God thinking? What was I going to do? For you see, I was in an abusive marriage, to an alcoholic/drug addict. I had been planning a new life for my son and myself…a life free and safe from abuse, yelling, violence and addiction. How would I support two children? Again, what was my Lord thinking? The scriptures promised God would not give me more than I could handle. Were they false? Had God lied to me? When my pregnancy was confirmed, I was told that I was nearly 12 weeks pregnant. Oh boy, I had just accepted my pregnancy when I was feeling the first flutters of a baby stirring within me. At 20 weeks, I arrived at my doctor’s office with both my six year old son and mother. We would be told the sex of the baby I was carrying within me. I was sure this baby was a girl. I had begun talking to her; was pondering names for her. The ultra-sound tech started the tests to check my baby. My son was holding my hand, my mother sitting at my side. We all watched the monitor, breathless for the first look at my baby girl. The tech carefully did her tests. I giggled with excitement, sure that any moment she would tell me that I was having a girl….which could possibly make up for all the morning sickness I was experiencing! Finally she turned and told me I had another boy. A BOY! WHAT? She couldn’t be right. I asked her to look again. She was still scanning my tummy, and seemed to be taking a really long time. I knew I was normally impatient, but to me, it seemed an exceptionally long time. Finally she turned off the monitor and said she needed to get the doctor to come help her – she wasn’t sure the machine was working correctly. I knew. Something deep within me knew. wrapped my hands around my womb, my eyes filling with tears. I turned to my mother and wanted to crawl into her lap. “Oh, Mommy! Something is very wrong.” I cried, and rocked my son in my arms. Hot tears pouring off my cheeks as I remembered the anguish I felt when I learned of this pregnancy. I soon found myself whispering broken prayers. “Father God, I have been so ungrateful. So undeserving. I don’t know why I doubted You. Please, please, Father, protect this child. I will be the best mommy I know how to be, if only You will help me.”

The doctor came in, reviewed the tests, performed some himself, and gently told us that I would need to immediately go see a specialist. My baby had some abnormities and needed more tests to determine what would need to be done. I was a wreck! Jesus and I had a lot of talking to do. I felt responsible, as if my negativity had somehow hurt my baby. The hours leading up to my appointment with the specialist were agony. I arrived at my appointment terrified and needing answers. Tests were preformed. I was taken into a room to await the doctor. I laid on the exam table, quietly crying, when I felt calmness, a peace come over me. I felt warm all over. No longer afraid. I even giggled! YES, GIGGLED! When the doctor came in, he took my hand, smiled into my eyes and told me to go home and enjoy my pregnancy. To be careful, because I was at a higher risk due to the complications I was having, but with care and rest, my baby and I should be fine. I leaned in and kissed his weathered cheek. The remainder of my pregnancy was not easy, instead full of unexpected complications. There were times I wasn’t sure I would be able to carry him to term, times the doctor’s weren’t. But throughout those next few months, I KNEW God was with us. No matter what, I would not be alone. He was holding me, carrying me. Comforting and caring for us. Providing. Thursday morning arrived. I was admitted into the hospital and after a very difficult delivery; my second son entered the world, again with a few unexpected “surprises” (the umbilical cord wrapped tightly around his neck). At long last, I was given my child…..before even the nurses had cleaned him up. I held him to my breast and thanked God for all that I’d been given. I knew then WHY God had given me this child. You see, a mother of an infant child cannot give up. My marriage had continued to deteriorate throughout the pregnancy. I now faced reality. I would need the help of my Lord in Heaven, my family and my friends to help me raise these two little boys. I couldn’t quit. They needed me. As the days flowed into weeks, I was blessed to hear my youngest child giggle. My baby boy laughed long before I’d known other babies to laugh. My son found life to be funny. He was such a happy little thing, so content with his mama and brother. For the longest time, it was only he only us he wanted loving on him. He seemed to innately know we would protect him. Nearly ten years have now passed. My oldest is now 17 and my youngest almost 10. Life hasn’t always been easy, but together – with the hand of Christ upon us – we have made it. Through a divorce, through single parenthood, my handsome sons have grown. My oldest is still a protector, and my youngest still very amused by life. Both blessings – both answers to very different prayers. Both gifts from God, given exactly when I needed them.

“Father God, I love you. I’m so thankful for all You have provided for us. You are the One and Only. Isaiah 66:13 promises, “As a mother comforts her child, so will I comfort you.” I know that one day I will be able to crawl into Your lap and feel Your arms around me. I no longer doubt Your Word. You have not, and will not give me more than I can handle. For Your ways are perfect and true. Again, Jesus, Lord, I love you.” Happy Mother’s Day to all the women in this world who love and care for our children. A special Happy Mother’s Day to my own mother, who has always been my strongest supporter, Juanita Wright Bowers. I love you, Mama! Connie L. Frazier

Being a mom is like air to me. Even with all the success, if I don't have my cheerleader my life is void. August 18th completely changed my life, his birth kicked my self worth into overdrive. If I have a day when I throw in the towel, he always picks it up and says go mom! That is worth living for and living my best life. Cheers , Leslie M. Wright

Being a mother is the most rewarding thing that any woman can do. It is hard at times, but put your trust in God. You have to be strong enough to discipline your child as it hurts you more than it does them. Patsy Salmon Black Oxford, NC

Receiving the news I was going to carry another life inside me for 9 months and then be responsible for this life, teaching and nurturing him through his lifetime made my already caring and giving heart expand about as much as my belly. Becoming a mom was a heart’s desire, and answered prayer. Motherhood has the highs and lows of most of life’s journeys but this experience teaches you so much about yourself and all your mom went through as she raised you. All of my planning and organizing skills came in handy as I embarked on this wild journey to guide and teach this child that was entrusted into my care. Our journey was enriched with the added responsibility of becoming Charles, advocate and elementary teacher as we worked through his learning and behavior issues and home school him to provide the structure and customized learning he needed. As a mother, we move mountains for our child and refuse to allow them to be reduced or hindered in any way. Through watching Charles grow into a young man, preparing to graduate from high school and starting his college education and career path has been a sweet reward for all the work, love, and prayers I invest in him through the formative years. Seeing him acknowledge my struggles and sacrifices and state appreciation are bonuses. Watching the lessons I thought were lost in translation coming out in his successes and watching him mentor others that are struggling makes me confident I did a good job. As he ages the motherhood, role redefines itself, our relationship develops new facets but the love, and respect I instilled in him in the early years is a sweet and treasured benefit I am now enjoying. Although at the time it seemed the tears were for nothing, they keep my heart soft and filled through the rough patches and growing seasons we went through during his development into the man he is today.

I clung to Proverbs 31 as my guide and my goal is to hear him say he was blessed by the way I raised him. Parenting helps us understand our relationship with God a little more, how we have to let him make decisions and do things his way, praying and guiding him with our example and teachings. When things go wrong we have to remain loving and open armed to accept him and help him restore things as much as possible and stand with him during the storms. Love endures forever, relationships change and roles may reverse but the love I felt throughout the nine month he grew inside of me continues throughout his life here on earth, and thankfully I know I have a treasure waiting in heaven and will see him in eternity.

MOM Cradled in His arms up high Gods' smallest "miracle" sighed While God looked down on His vast new world Searching for His sweetest "dove". He knew that somewhere He would find A person with the gifts so dear Someone to hold them when they cried And kiss away their scrapes and fears. She'd need the strongest, softest heart Loving arms, warm touch, and a soothing smile. To hold them when the world turned bad And give them safety and comfort for a while. God knew this person would always love With a special voice to bring them calm. He smiled when he saw her standing there Gave her the "miracle" and called her mom.

No one wants to be a single mother by choice, but that was the situation that i was facing after 10 years of marriage. The road has not been easy, however I have not looked back. I thank God that I didn't face this obstacle alone. God was with me! By His grace , I have raised 3 wonderful children. I consider it a privilege that my God would give me these three lives to develop. It has been an honor to teach and guide my sons down the 'right' path in life. I have always taught them to put God first and all else will be okay. I continue to thank my Lord and Savior every day for this blessing. What a great honor and privilege that my God has trusted me with this task. I hope and pray

that I have lived up to God's expectations. i am truly blessed!

Gospel soloist Lindsey Graham had an interesting trip earning the opportunity to sing the National Anthem for the Minnesota Twins spring training game. Ms Graham stated, "I auditioned at a public contest in the Miromar Outlets in Estero, Florida back in January to sing the National Anthem for the Minnesota Twins. They had a full day of auditions and selected only one person to sing the anthem at a spring training game at their Hammond Stadium in Ft. Myers, Florida. To my great surprise, I was the BIG WINNER!! Singing at the game between the Twins and the Baltimore Orioles on March 18th the fans were in awe as she magnificently performed on par with the best ever heard in on outdoor stadium, evidenced by the tremendous applause after she finished. Lindsey also commented, "I am blown away to have had this opportunity. I heard many great singers audition and am humbled to have been chosen to sing the National Anthem. This is truly an honor I will cherish moving forward. The performance was captured on video by Tucker Media (www.Tucker.media) and can be viewed with the link below: https://www.youtube.com/watch? v=SbaS3Qxrpng&feature=youtu.be The Twins lost the game, but gained a fan in Lindsey Graham. Sometimes the Lord delivers teaching at the craziest times. I was about to sit down and do my study and decided that I was hungry and I wanted a sandwich. As soon as I picked up the bread the lesson started. Do we understand the bread? What is it that we truly need? When does a need become a need? The answer is in the bread. I often wondered about the faith of those who walked with him everyday. Those that saw the miracles, heard him speak, saw the lives changed on his very words, The very manifestation of Gods presence and the leading of the Holy Spirit in his everyday walk. Did they completely understand their needs? The difference between what Christ saw as their needs and what they or we see as our needs? The disciples had a long day and were obviously tired. They met up with the lord. Mark 6:30 And the apostles gathered themselves together unto Jesus, and told him all things, both what they had done, and what they had taught. 31 And he said unto them, Come ye yourselves apart into a desert place, and rest a while: for there were many coming and going, and they had no leisure so much as to eat. They had not even had the chance to eat, yet a crowd had formed to hear the Masters words and Jesus was moved and began to teach them until late in the day. The disciples, hungry and tired needed rest and something to eat, yet the lesson was just beginning. It was all about the bread. Faith. In the obvious things that we see or have become accustomed to is not very difficult, yet even the ones doing the Lord's work, keeping our eyes on the finish line allow our own limits to cause our faith to stumble, just like the disciples. The Lord wants them to feed these people. Mark 6:36 Send them away, that they may go into the country round about, and into the villages, and buy themselves bread: for they have nothing to eat. 37 He answered and said unto them, Give ye them to eat. And they say unto him, Shall we

go and buy two hundred pennyworth of bread, and give them to eat? Why did he ask them "How many loves do you have?" Faith. The difference between those who need and those who have a need. The men who were blind had a need and the disciples who were hungry just needed. We are blessed in our lives and take for granted our faith in our everyday lives. You work and you get paid. You place the keys in the car and the car crank's. You flip the switch and the lights turn on. But what about when our need becomes a need? What happens when the rest we need becomes a need for rest? When we become tired and we cannot sleep then where is the rest? Now you see where I am coming from. When the need becomes a need. When our faith becomes a need for faith. Matthew 16:8 Which when Jesus perceived, he said unto them, O ye of little faith, why reason ye among yourselves, because ye have brought no bread? The lack of bread was all they saw, they didn't understand the difference between in need and the need. The physical bread and the spiritual bread. I have noticed that in everyday life my faith is strong in my needs. I need good health, a job, transportation, food and a place to rest. My needs are met. Its when the need become a need that our faith is tested. That's when the meaning of the bread becomes different. The bread that the disciples were always worried about is what fed them physically, yet the blind men knew that the bread he needed was that different kind of bread. That bread that Jesus told them about. That bread that feeds the need when it becomes a need. That same bread that sustained him in the wilderness when he was tempted, that's right the bread of life. Matthew 4:3 And when the tempter came to him, he said, If thou be the Son of God, command that these stones be made bread. 4 But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God. See even the Master, when he was hungry, tired, and had been without food knew the true bread. The tempter knew that there was a need for bread but the Savior knew and spoke to him and us that when we finally get the true meaning of the bread we will never hunger again. When the need becomes a need. That need has already been met by Christ Jesus. My prayer for you and I is that we know the difference between the bread. The bread of man will feed the need for a hungry body but will not feed the true hunger. The bread that Christ was talking about is that bread that only comes from the true meaning of hunger, hunger for Christ himself. Christ feeds us through his word each and everyday if we choose to partake and break that bread with him. Our lives get busy and we let our world encompass us in such a way that we forget to feast on the true bread. We listen to our bodies when we become hungry and we fed that need, yet when we forget to feed the spirit then we will not be ready nor have the energy when that need becomes a need. Luke 22:19 And he took bread, and gave thanks, and brake it, and gave unto them, saying, This is my body which is given for you: this do in remembrance of me.

Michael English Hosts 2015 SGMG Harmony Honors Ceremony Browders, Isaacs, and Three Bridges With Outstanding Performances Grammy and Dove Award winning Michael English hosted the Southern Gospel Music Guild's 2015 Harmony Honors. It was a star studded Who's Who of Gospel singing which was highlighted by exciting performances by The Browders, The Isaacs, and Three Bridges. The Harmony Honors was honoring two of the great songwriters of our era who have passed on to their Heavenly rewards, but leave us songs that will touch hearts many, many years to come. Honored were Dottie Rambo and Rusty Goodman who both have classic Gospel songs to their credits. Three Bridges opened with the Dottie Rambo hit recorded by many artists including the soundtrack to the 'Preachers Wife' recorded by the late Whitney Houston, "I Go To The Rock”. Bringing the crowd to their feet they got the evening off to a feverish start. The Isaacs performed Dottie's song "He Ain't Never Done Me Nothin' But Good” and were joined on stage by Rambo McGuire setting the crowd on fire once again. They later performed another Rambo song which has been a huge hit for them. "Mama's Teaching Angles How To Sing”. The Browders, not to be outdone added their vibrant energy to the Rambo classic "I've Never Been This Homesick Before”. Once again the crowd received this song with worship and excitement. Michael English sang Rusty Goodman's very popular "Who Am I?” to an exuberant crowd with hands raised and worshipful praise going on. He also told of how Rusty Goodman introduced him to his signature song, and how he didn't like it when he heard it. But, Michael recorded the song with the Goodmans and the rest is history. That song is "I Bowed On My Knees And Cried Holy”. That was a perfect way to close out the program.

Other performers that evening included The Blackwood Brothers, The Perrys, Tribute Quartet, The Lefevre Quartet, Freedom Quartet, The Nelons, The Jim Brady Trio, The Mark Trammell Quartet, Rambo/McGuire, Joseph Habedank, Goodman Revival, and The Old Paths Quartet. drcarolshow.com 12 Reasons You Could Be Depressed Everybody has a down day occasionally. Our emotions are slippery things, and some people have a more volatile emotional life than others. If you can understand what’s getting you down, perhaps you can do something about it. The human mind responds to stress in many different ways. Your thinking and emotions are affected by what’s going on in your physical body, by memories and outside circumstances, by the people around you, and even by your spiritual life. If one of these areas is unhealthy or stressed at a given time, a little stress in another area may be enough to push your emotions over the hill. If you’re feeling down, especially if it’s out of proportion to any obvious outward stress you’re experiencing, consider whether any of these factors may be contributing to your depression: Lack of sleep. If you’re physically tired, take a nap or put the problem on hold until after a good night’s sleep. My husband has often put me to bed when I’ve felt overwhelmed and emotional in the evening, knowing I’ll feel better and see things clearly the next morning. Inadequate or unhealthy diet. A surge in blood sugar after junk food, and then a mental crash, can make anyone irritable. Processed foods clog your brain as well as your body. A diet of healthy protein, fruits, and vegetables is likely to help your mind feel clearer and happier. Lack of exercise. You know about the “feel-good” endorphins released when you exercise. A quick walk or run around the block, especially if there’s fresh air and sunshine included, may completely turn your mental mood around.

Trying to change something you can’t change. Nothing will wear you out faster than repeatedly trying to force something to happen that’s not within your power to change. This includes trying to change other people, or systems you have no control over. ·

Eating a negative or stress-producing mental diet. The nightly news is often filled with bad stuff: “if it bleeds, it leads.” Much of the rest of media is filled with people acting out of violence, greed, dishonesty, or selfish sexuality. If you feel down, that mental diet will only make you feel worse. ·

Hanging around negative people. Some people just suck the life out of you. A bad attitude is often contagious. In this sense, “misery loves company” is right. Choose the kind of person you’d like to be. Then hang out with that kind of person. ·

Worrying about what other people think. If only you could remember that they probably aren’t thinking about you at all! How often have you let fear about what others think keep you from doing something meaningful, taking a positive risk, or enjoying something great? ·

Mentally or emotionally tired. Your mind can get tired too. Creativity, relating to people, study, monotony, social isolation – these are a few of the things that can become too much for your mind to handle. Your mind needs rest, entertainment, and refreshment too. ·

Negative mental habits. Some people naturally focus on the obstacles or problems around them. A healthy mind doesn’t ignore signs of trouble, but doesn’t focus there. It focuses on creative solutions or hope or positive relationships instead. ·

Not doing something you have the power to do. Tired of sitting there and complaining? Get up and do something positive. Nothing will make you feel better than helping someone else, or seeing the positive results of action you took. ·

Working in a job without meaning. Meaningless work can also suck the life out of you. And don’t buy into the lie that there’s nothing you can do about it. You can find meaning in the job you have, create a plan to search elsewhere, or create your own source of income that is meaningful. ·

God’s enemy and yours is bringing oppression. We’re not alone in the universe. Followers of Jesus are often targeted by the devil because of the positive difference God wants you to make for His kingdom. Sometimes it’s nothing you’re doing wrong, but something you’re doing right. ·

If you’re feeling down, check your physical lifestyle, your mental habits, the people around you, and the spiritual dimension of your life. Often there’s much you can do to feel better, become more productive, and move forward in the purpose God has for you. ·

P.S. If you aren’t making progress on your own, or feel your life is hopeless and are considering harming yourself, please get help immediately. Call 1-800-273-TALK in the United States, or visit suicide.org. ·

Hello friends! Yesterday during a video announcement it was announced that ever-popular vocalist Doug Anderson would be leaving Ernie Haase & Signature Sound. Below is a statement from Doug Anderson regarding the changes. Since the news was announced yesterday, I've been overwhelmed at the amount of love and support shown to me. Ernie Haase is my friend and is like a brother to me. The journey with him has been an amazing one and I will never be able to repay him for all he has done for me and my family. The last 13 years have been wonderful and I am going to miss climbing on the bus every week with ALL my brothers. This decision was not an easy one, but one that I have complete peace about. As you saw in the video, nothing is wrong, no one is mad at anyone. I want to spend more time with my wife and girls, and I want them to travel with me some. It really is as simple as that. I am very blessed that I can forge a new path on my own because of what Ernie Haase & Signature Sound did for me - I will be forever grateful. I can't wait to see you on the road! Please stay in touch with me on Twitter, Facebook and my website. I LOVE YOU ALL and I will see you soon! Doug

Just a few short days ago, former NFL Superstar Terry Bradshaw, joined the Isaacs on stage to perform the classic Gospel song "What A Day That Will Be” in Pollok, Texas. His appointment got canceled in Louisiana, so he decided to drive a few miles to Texas to hear the Isaacs. Not only did Terry show up, but he also brought his 86 year old Mother and his lovely wife, Tammy. Bradshaw garnered a huge laugh when he asked the question "How many singers get the Isaacs to open for them?” No stranger to the singing microphone, as Terry Bradshaw recorded several Gospel albums in the 1980s, he comfortably picked up the mic and related that he sang this song a several weeks earlier in Hawaii. With that, the Isaacs started strumming their instruments, Terry grabbed his cheat sheet and they were off and running with a great rendition of this classic song. Lily Isaacs commented, "It's so strange that people who are legends in their own right would say they are a "Fan” of the Isaacs. We have known Terry for several years and are always pleased to be with him and his family. Terry is not ashamed of his Christianity in a broadcast world where it is not common.” The video has had over 4 million views and can be seen on the Isaacs FaceBook page with this link: https://www.facebook.com/video.php?v=10153244137217008 The Isaacs have been busy elsewhere in the music world being honored with three Ovation Awards at the prestigious Absolutely Gospel Music Awards held earlier this month in Smyrna, TN. My Dad, the Strongest Man I Know want to take a minute today and veer from my original articles to tell you about a man I know. A man who for 60 years was my father, J.T. Lee. My dad was born January 1, 1933 and grew up during a time when times were hard and lean. His father worked a farm and his mom worked in the sewing plants. Even though his life was hard dad only had good times to talk about. He had many stories that he told that will last us a life time. Stories that we told our children and now pass on to our grandchildren. My dad told many stories about walking to school and each time the miles got longer, the hills got higher and the snow got deeper. He once told me he slept in the loft of the house and when it rained he never got wet but when it snowed he had to shake the snow off the blankets. Later I found out from my grandmother that this was true. You see when the wind blew the snow it blew it in between the cracks in the rafters. And the fish stories my dad would tell. He loved fishing and we spent a lot of time at Santee on the water. I'll never forget the day my dad and I just took the day and went fishing. I don't remember if we even caught a single fish but I remember that it was just my day with my dad. The one thing he loved more than anything was his family. There are 6 of us, me being the oldest; and I don't know of anyone who loved us more than he and our mom did. The funny thing about being the oldest is my dad always thought that I was the baby. I guess that comes with being the first born. But my dad was very protective of me and taught my younger brothers and sister to be the same. I'm not sure why that was but that's the way it was and still is. Thirty years ago my dad meet my step mom and then all of a sudden there were 10 children, and he loved them just as much as he did us. You see in our family we have no steps, we are just family. As a child my dad to me was away a lot. It seemed he was never home. He didn't go on many vacations with us. But the ones he did were trips to the Maggie Valley and Ghost Town in the Sky, where we learned my dad was a cowboy and an Indian. He could gunfight as good as John Wayne and shoot an arrow as straight as Geronimo. I think the Geronimo part came from his Cherokee heritage. But who knows as kids we be-

lieved anything our dad told us. But you know one day you grow up and realize with 6 kids you worked hard to make sure there was a roof over our heads, food on the table and clothes to wear. And I promise you we never lacked for any of those or my dad's love. My dad taught me many things through life. One education is important. Another is hard work never hurt anyone. And work hard we did. We grew up working on that same farm with grandad that my dad did. And for those who have never worked on a farm let me tell you there is nothing called sun up to sun down, it's a 24 hour a day job. I remember when I got my first public job, when I graduated from high school. You see education was so important to my dad he didn't want us to work public jobs while we were in school. Anyway my first public job I got in 1972 the year I graduated from high school and dad had a few words of wisdom before I started my job. His words were “Debbie remember to always take pride in whatever you do. Which was always what he told us. And you're not going to work in the fields anymore, you're working in the public. When you leave this house your hair should be fixed, your clothes clean, pressed and matched. To this day before I leave the house to go anywhere I still follow those rules. Even for a trip to the grocery store. My mom and dad didn't go to church much but one thing I can say they made us get up on Sunday mornings and go to church. Course it was kinda hard not to when your grandfather was a preacher and most of the time I went to church with them. One day I looked around and realized my dad was in church and involved in church. What a day that was. My dad loved southern gospel music and had a great relationship with so many of the groups whom he called “his boys. Life with dad was amazing at times and hard at times but the hardest time we hadn't faced yet. December of last year we faced the hardest time of our lives with our dad. Right before his 82nd birthday my dad was diagnosed with stomach cancer. A stomach cancer so rare there isn't a treatment for it. So rare that it doesn't have a name. In no time my dad started loosing weight and his strength was failing. The day I went to see my dad and saw him using a walker broke my heart but not as much as the day we had to put him in a wheelchair. You see my dad to me was the strongest man I knew. Cancer tried it's best to beat my dad and Sunday morning at 6:00 he thought he had won the battle. A song my dad loved is Look for me at Jesus' Feet and that's where my dad now sits. My dad is having a reunion with his family and friends who have gone before him. There's another song my dad loved called Pile of Crowns, where we lay our crowns at the feet of Jesus and he's finally got to lay his crowns down.

I can see my dad and my husband Steve, sitting by the river fishing, which was something they loved to do together, or checking out he back 40 of Heaven. He's smiling, singing those gospel songs he loved and worshiping his Lord. You see when you have God in your heart and you've accepted him as your Lord and savior death cannot win. John tells us in Revelation 21:4 that God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. There shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away. From the day my dad found out he had cancer he told us “I'm going to beat this thing”, and beaten it he has. My dad right up to the time God Sent his angel to take him home was making sure we all knew how much he loved us and we were to never forget that. How can you forget how much someone loves you when you are loved as much as my dad loved us. I know he loved me because right up until he passed away he even made my friends promise to look after me. Don't feel sorry for my loss for you see it's never a loss when you know you know you'll see them again one day. I'm sad because my dad is gone but how I long to be where he is. Dad you will forever be missed and loved. But rest assured one day look for me at Jesus' feet for that's where you'll find me. "Those we love never go away, They walk beside us everyday. Unseen, unheard but always near. Still loved, still missed and very dear. No need to shed a tear in fear. They are still right here…

Organizing in Tough Situations Makes Them Better “Out of Clutter find simplicity from discord, find harmony. In the middle of difficulty find harmony” Albert Einstein Most people can organize and prioritize when things go as planned, they feel well and budget is good. However, put things in utter chaos, through a few limitations, health problems, uncooperative people, limited or a negative budget and BAMM! The situation is bleak! Clutter is high and things are not good. This is detrimental as well as unhealthy to allow the negativity to continue too long. Everyone has the moments when you through in the towel, feel completely defeated and hopeless and say “I QUIT!!!” Nevertheless, after you have your moment, a good cry and scream. Time to get serious and find inspiration to get through the issues and organizing is going to be important in getting things back to being good again. It is a coping mechanism. Organization is a solution to any problem. To start take a picture of the current situation! And if necessary say out loud. THIS IS WHERE I AM AT! THIS IS NOT WHERE or How I want things to be! I AM GOING TO CHANGE THIS SITUATION! Grab a notebook and start making the list of what needs to go where and that becomes your to-do list..Once it is completed, you will have controlled the situation and returned the order and enjoyment to your space. You are now able to take measures to keep your schedule from becoming out of order and make time for your priorities. Simplify your life and keep situations in control. YOU CAN OVERCOME CLUTTER or Low budgets systematically.

Welcome to the Porch, Grab a nice cold glass of sweet tea or a nice warm cup of coffee and let’s chat. First, let’s say a short prayer asking God to open our ears and our hearts. Father, we come to you now asking that you will use these words in such a way that hearts will be blessed and open to you. Father, all we do we do for you. Each of us humbled, by your love and mercies every day. Amen Today let’s chat about, WE KNOW “One thing I know: that though I was blind, now I see” (John 9:25) We know! We believe! In a world that is torn apart by doubt, fear and uncertainty, the Christian can say “I know”. To a world that is bombarded with endless questions the child of God can say “I believe” Is it possible to have spiritual certainty in a shaken and uncertain world? We are frail and fallibility is our nature. We can look in 1stI John and see the answer to this question, Can we know? “We KNOW that we know Him” (2:3) “We KNOW that we are in Him” (2:5) “We KNOW that we shall be like Him” (3:2) “We KNOW that we have passed out of death into life” (3:14) “We KNOW that we are of the truth” (3:19) “We KNOW that…… He hath forgiven us of His Spirit” (4:13) “We KNOW that we have the petitions which we have asked of Him” (5:15) “We KNOW that the Son of God is come, and hath given us an understanding” (5:20) “We KNOW we are of God” (5:19) There is always it seems good reason for “supposing” We know, Not, we think. Not, we hope. Not. However, in the writing of John supposition is not there. He tells us “We KNOW” and not only do we know, “We KNOW that we KNOW” “there are things we know, our knowledge that is multiplied into knowledge; our knowledge built on our knowledge; knowledge establishing

A BEGGAR'S PRAYER The Lord gave me a vision of a beggar on the street He was looking for a place to rest and something warm to eat His clothes were soiled and ragged but no one seemed to care They just wanted him to leave and find another place somewhere He was tired and hungry but no one gave him a dime All he was looking for was the gift of someone's time Many people passed him by and looked the other way He finally fell down on his knees and then began to pray Lord if you're listening I need some help tonight Please send one of your servants to lead me to your light Many churches I've passed by as down the road I trod But no one's ever cared enough to lead me on to God A lot of people look at me and think I'm just a bum Looking for a handout so I can buy some rum But Lord I want to know you please save me by your grace Then I will know for certain I'll be welcome in your place Amen @ Joye Atkinson

Last night at a special church service where I attend church, a young Pastor spoke and his message hit home to me in many ways. One though that really got me to pondering about was (Romans 12:5 KJV) So we, being many, are one body in Christ, and every one members one of another." How true this is. It doesn't matter what church we go too, we are indeed one body, one member in Christ. Yet as this young Pastor pointed out, how many of us act this way when we aren't in church? How many of us shake someone's hand and say hi in church and then see them out and about in town and ignore them completely? How many of us meet someone in church and then gossip about them away from church? Or stick our noses up and act like we are better then someone because we have the finer things in life and they havent? Boy I have had that happen to me so many times and to be honest, I avoided church for years. But think about it. We are truly ONE body and ONE member in Christ regardless of what color we are , no matter what we look like , no matter where we are from, whether we rich or poor or what church we belong too and its high time we All act like it. Not one day a week but every single second of every single day. What a difference we could make not only to others but to ourselves as well. We as Christians are to be a light unto others and to set examples so others may want to follow.Take the steps, it isn’t hard, and be how Jesus expects us to be. Remember God loves ya and so do I.

The past year and a half I have been concentrating on my photography and taking it to a more professional level. This all occurred after posting a few of my photos on my Facebook page and people saying, “God gave you such a beautiful gift, you should do this professionally.” I decided to pray about it and God showed me more and more that at this time in my life that this is what God wanted me to do. God wanted me to show His people the beauty in His wonderful creation... A year and a half later I do not regret following God where ever He has lead me. I travel down the back roads of PA & NY photographing wildlife and landscapes all of which God created. I noticed a few things while I have been out on the road doing what I love, and that is that there is beauty in everything. It can be as simple as a bee landing on a flower, a tree ready to bloom, a raindrop on a leaf, or a majestic bald eagle perched on a branch high atop a tree overlooking the river. Everywhere I look I find God in everything He has created. Recently a lot of friends have been telling me, “You are such an amazing photographer, you have a great eye.” My response is very simple, “Its a gift from God that I treasure and I am just showing folks the beauty of God through a lens.” Everyone ask me, “Andy what is your secret for great photography?” I have no secret, I do the same thing I do every time I go out to photograph God's Creation. Before I start my van I ask God to bless our trip and keep us safe, and I ask God to allow me to photograph something totally amazing that maybe I or someone else needs to see to bless them, and the results speak for themselves. No hidden secrets, just a simple prayer to the one who makes it all possible. What I am trying to get at here friends is that God created an amazing place for us to live. Take time out of your day to say thank you God for allowing me to live in such a beautiful place. God has created such a beautiful place and to any times we destroy it without even thinking. Throwing things out of our windows of our vehicles while we drive. Don't get me wrong, I am guilty of that as well. Not so much lately because I am more aware of God's beauty and respect the place we live more now than ever. Everywhere I travel I see amazing animals, birds, and beautiful country side. Everything that

God created I take pleasure in photographing. God created us all in His image, He created a place for us to live and call home, He created everything for us, and so many people take that for granted.

Next time you’re out for a drive I urge you to take your time and breath in the fresh air, smell the flowers, look up, look around you will see God in everything. You never have to look to far to see God, He is everywhere in His Beautiful Creation... Even God's Creatures Bow To Give Thanks!

Revelation 5:13 And I heard every creature in heaven and on earth and under the earth and in the sea, and all that is in them, saying, “To him who sits on the throne and to the Lamb be blessing and honor and glory and might forever and ever!”
