Learning Resource Centres (LRC)
The College offers extensive study and learning facilities, incorporated within our LRC’s, spread over all five campuses. The LRC facilitates life-long learning by providing a quality service that meets the resource needs of both staff and students.
Learning resource material include over 40,000 hardcopy books; tens of thousands of eBooks and eTextbooks; thousands of ejournals and articles, combined, with a wide range of electronic multimedia materials to assist students with their studies that embeds learning and contributes to the College’s ILT strategy of providing coordinated management of Learning Resources. All eResources are accessible 24/7 both onsite and remotely. The College has a computerised library management system with the advantages of an up-to-date catalogue of available books and fast accurate searches. Items not available can be requested.
All LRC’s offer printing, scanning and photocopying facilities with our new Xerox copiers, networked to all PC’s.

• Regularly updating and growing our resource portfolio in line with, and in consultation with, our curriculum teams
