ALABAMA — On Tuesday night, former Auburn Head Football Coach Tommy Tuberville (R-Ala.) defeated incumbent U.S. Senator Doug Jones (D-Ala.) in the race for U.S. Senate. Tuberville unseated Jones after a highly-advertised race to save Jones’s seat, which was considered the most flippable seat for Republicans when it comes to U.S. Senate races.

RAINSVILLE, Ala. — At the Organizational Session of the Rainsville City Council, the new council and Mayor Rodger Lingerfelt were sworn in by Representative Nathaniel Ledbetter. The council members are as follows: Brandon Freeman, Derek Rosson, Monk Blevins, Rickey Bryrum, and Bejan Taheri. The Council elected Rickey Byrum as the Council President. The following

Edmondson brings a wealth of experience to the job, beginning his career at the DeKalb County Sheriff’s Office in 2000 as a correctional officer before becoming a deputy in 2001.
