Haggard Captured After Manhunt By Southern Torch Staff FORT PAYNE, Ala. — From the Office of DeKalb County Sheriff Nick Welden: On the morning of November 19, a multi-agency operation resulted in the capture of a fugitive with sixteen outstanding warrants in DeKalb County, as well as several others in Dade (Georgia) and Jackson Counties. At approximately 6 am this morning (Tuesday, November 19, 2019) Deputies and Agents with the DeKalb County Sheriff’s Office, DeKalb County Interdiction and Narcotics Unit, U.S. Marshalls, ALEA Narcotics Task Force, Henagar Police Department, Jackson County Sheriff’s Office, and the Dade County Sheriff’s Office attempted to locate the subject at a residence on County Road 169 (near Cartersville). While the team was at the residence, the suspect attempted to return to the residence on an ATV. The suspect fled, and led the team on a pursuit which entered Georgia, continuing on District Line Road.

He was captured a short distance in a wooded area after crossing back over the Alabama line into Jackson County. The ATV the subject fled on was found to be stolen. Jared Lance Haggard (28 of Higdon) was taken to the Jackson County Detention Center where he remains on a $15,000 bond. Supply District stated that their water supply would be retested on Tuesday, November 26th. The letter to affected residents can be found on our website: southerntorch.com. After Monday’s board meeting, which was the first full meeting in four months, the DeKalb County Sheriff’s
Office, Jackson County Sheriff’s Office, as well as local law enforcement, were called by the board members. The members stated that the citizens were trespassing after the meeting was adjourned. “I think it’s awful that we’ve come to this

“Because we open the Auburn shop in a short 24 hours, I’d like to tell the story of Alice Circle: Auburn Two years ago, almost to the day, I was on a Texas road trip with Starr Mitchell and Connie Cochran. Alice Circle sold some T-shirts to raise money for those affected by Hurricane Harvey, and we decided to take a little trip to deliver the funds to a Texas relief foundation. During our travels, we discussed creating a business focused on providing merchandise for sororities.
Earlier this year we started that business: Pep+Rally. We selected the name because we are all former cheerleaders, and we’ve been cheering one another on for as long as we can remember. Our goal is to provide items that represent organizations, as well as to create a culture of encouragement. We decided that Pep+Rally would prosper near a college campus and soon after my friend Pam
