THE EPITOME OF brains and brawn cohabiting the same sleek and sophisticated body, the Jaguar F-Pace has managed to take everything the brand stands for and package it into a form that towers over the rest of the Jag family, making it the BFG, the “big friendly giant” of the brood. When the British fi rm fi rst launched the F-Pace in 2016, it sent shockwaves throughout the industry. A Jag SUV? We didn’t think we would see that day, but here we are, years later, and it’s Jaguar’s best-selling car globally.

THE YEAR OF THE OX

2021 is the year of the ox in Chinese astrology, which symbolizes prosperity and incredible physical, emotional, and mental strength and stamina, a powerful guiding totem for the new 2021 F-Pace.

The elegant interior is the epitome of prosperity: the plush leather seats complement leather trimming on the dash and an incredibly soft padded steering wheel. The cabin also boasts an 11.4-inch Pivi Pro Infotainment system, the design of which has been inspired by a high-end tablet. And then additional fi nishes such as chrome-like housing around the ventilation dials lends a more modern, luxurious fi nish to the interior.

And then there’s the F-Pace’s strength and stamina. With super stability and a powerful 2.0 litre, 4-cylinder turbocharged diesel engine, it roars to life, kicking out 147 kW and 430 Nm of torque, with endless opportunities on its horizon. The all-wheeldrive F-Pace also handles like a dream on the road, its responsive yet weighted steering wheel allowing you to feel in control no matter the terrain.

DESIGNED TO IMPRESS

The exterior has seen noticeable changes, with the most notable being the reshaped bonnet, the larger grille housing “diamond” detailing and redesigned and refreshed air intakes for the front bumper. Narrow LED headlamps with double J-shaped daytime-running lights are also new and intriguing features on the 2021 F-Pace. And at the rear, the bumper has been redesigned to give this SUV a more formidable stance and presence.
