ancy Silverman, owner of Ants Pants Café, 2212 South St., diligently worked behind the counter, while co-owner Elizabeth Fleming stood outside in the crisp fall weather handing out cider and hot chocolate to passers-by. ing methods to ward off conflict and anger while embracing the joys of high self-esteem. The Abington resident makes Thursday treks to the school as a prevention specialist for Shalom Inc., a schooland community-based private, nonprofit that has offered drug and alcohol prevention, intervention and treatment services in Philadelphia’s non-public schools since 1973.
