Minor injuries in school bus crash

KINGSVILLE — An accident involving a local school bus on Thursday, November 11 resulted in the bus driver and two students being transported to hospital with minor injuries.

The two-vehicle accident occurred around 7:50 am on Thursday, at the intersection of Road 8 and the Graham Side Road.

There were five students aboard the bus.

As a result of the investigation, the 47-year-old bus driver was charged with failing to yield to traffic on a through highway.

The driver of the second vehicle was treated and released by EMS on scene.
