By C. Scott Holland

Reid Funeral Home has grabbed one of the spots in the playoff title contest and now waits to see who their opponent is.

RFH got a 4-3 victory over Chrysler in the final seconds last week.

Gabriele Home and Floor outlasted Gualtieri Farms 8-5.

REID 4 CHRYSLER 3

This contest was a nail-biter and wasn’t decided until OT was within sight.

Chrysler kept the heat on Reids throughout the contest. Andy Anthony drilled two and Brian Santos added a shorthanded tally.

Reid’s Tyler Dominato, Dylan Montague, Jordan Hooker and Cale Phibbs

all had one each. Phibbs notched the game-winner in the dying seconds of the third.

GABRIELE 8 GUALTIERI 5

The Gualtieri squad battled to keep within striking distance until the third period but couldn’t hold the Gabriele offense.

Gualtieri was led by Ryan Zsebok who netted two goals while Ian Faubert, Pat Sonoski and Scott Florence fired one each.

The Gabriele team got a great performance from Kyle Bowman who tabbed two goals and added three assists. Brett Babkirk blasted a pair of markers while Z. Halwachs, Al Beausoleil, Adam Tofflemire, and Cam Dawson all planted one.
