Mental health and substance use support available

REGIONAL — Now more than ever, people’s mental health is being challenged due to COVID-19.

The impact of isolation, financial uncertainty and the disruptions to daily routines have led to Canadians reporting higher levels of anxiety, loneliness and depression.

To address this, Wellness Together Canada provides access to professional councillors and online resources for free with no wait times.

It provides 24/7 mental health and substance use support for Canadians of all ages, in every province and territory and in both official languages.

Funded by the Government of Canada, the virtual format removes barriers such as cost and accessibility.

As the pandemic continues, help is available. For more information go to https://wellnesstogether.ca/en-CA or call 1-866-585-0445.
