CAVS WIN WECSSAA

The Kingsville Cavaliers captured the 2022 WECSSAA girls slo-pitch championship last Thursday afternoon with an 11-8 win over the St. Thomas of Villanova Wildcats at Co-An Park in McGregor.

The Cavaliers avenged their only loss of the season, which came late in the regular season against Villanova.

Kingsville went 6-1 in the regular season and beat Sandwich and Leamington in the playoffs heading into last Thursday’s final game.
