Senior girls relay team top at SWOSSAA

LEAMINGTON – The swim team at Leamington District Secondary School made a big splash at SWOSSAA (South Western Ontario Secondary School Athletic Association) on Monday, February 24 at the Windsor Aquatic Centre.

Kalin Lougheed and Alison Ware qualified for OFSAA (to be held in Toronto on March 3-4) in all three of their individual events.

Nicolas Lougheed, Cassia DiMenna and Erin Hopper all posted personal bests. The girls relay team – Hopper, Ware, DiMenna and Lougheed – crushed the OFSAA time standard and posted a team best as the top SWOSSAA senior relay team in the 200-metre freestyle.
