FIRE DESTROYS ROBSON ROAD HOME

LEAMINGTON — An early morning house fire along the Lake Erie shoreline completely destroyed one home and damaged two others.

Leamington fire crews were dispatched to the 400 block of Robson Road around 4:30 am Saturday.

Upon arrival, fire crews were hampered by high winds coming off the lake. The two homes on either side of the blaze also sustained considerable damage.

The home is a total loss, and total damage is estimated at about $750,000.

Fire crews were on scene for about five hours.

The cause is undetermined and is under investigation.

There were no injuries and the homeowner was not home at the time of the fire.
