Because we care about the well-being of all family members, we make sure each piece of furniture is as safe as possible, from design to manufacturing. All our cribs, changing tables, chests, dressers, and bunk beds meet the safety requirements of the American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM).

TESTED AND APPROVED

At South Shore, we conduct strict in-house stability testing on our changing tables and dressers. This allows us to ensure that our children's furniture is safe for everyone in the home, young or old.

What we do to prevent tip overs

• Integrating an interlock as a security mechanism to the unit. The interlock prevents several drawers from opening at the same time, which creates a stabilizing effect.

• Adding weight to the back of the furniture to increase its stability.

• In some cases, limiting the drawer opening (approximately 2 inches smaller).

Discover our changing tables that can easily be transformed into a chest of drawers thanks to their removable edges and our 3-in-1 cribs that can be converted into a bed with a transition barrier.
