New Assistant Superintendent for Business by Bess Featherstone After 18 years of working for District 207, 13 of which were spent as the Assistant Superintendent for Business, Mrs. Merilee McCracken is retiring. The Assistant Superintendent for Business is in charge of dealing with the districts finances. "That person is responsible for the budget, the bookkeeping in the school, monitoring the way money is used, and the expenditures that take place. This role also works with our student activities and our clubs to make sure that the money that they raise and money they spend is done in an appropriate way... just someone who oversees the financial transactions that take place throughout the district," Mr. Claypool said. Also, according to Mr. Claypool, Mrs. McCracken "has done a tremendous job of managing the district's money.'" With District 207 being so large, keeping the district within a comfort zone is a difficuh task. "[Mrs. McCracken] has spent, over the last
several years, a great deal of time making sure that budget-wise we are in good shape, that we were able to balance the budget and not have the situation where we weren't able to offer programs and class sizes have dramatically increased." said Dr. Morris, Superintendent of District 207. When asked what she liked most about her job, Mrs. McCracken replied "The aspect of my job that I have most enjoyed has been working with wonderful, dedicated, hard working colleagues and board members who are committed to providing a high quality education to our students." While looking for a new Assistant Superintendent for Business, the district is looking for a person who is not only able to manage finances and budgets well, but also someone who is a good communicator and who has experience with schools, students, and education. When asked what qualities are being looked for, Mr. Claypool said "[We are looking for] someone who. in that position, has some
understanding of schools and how they operate, and who has a sense of appreciation for the use of money and how it impacts our students, and how it impacts our classrooms because that's why we're here." The new Assistant Superintendent for Business will be basically continuing what is being done now, with one exception: the human relations function (handling all personnel) that is now handled by the Assistant Superintendent for Business will be handled in the future by the Assistant Superintendent for Personnel. Since the increase in student enrollment has leveled off and the handling of human relations is the only major change being made to Mrs. McCracken's job, students will probably not notice much of a difference with this change. After this position change, Mr. Claypool hopes that Maine South can still continue to save money, but not at the expense of other important areas. He also hopes Maine South will continue to be responsible with its resources and with the tax dollars it receives.
Alternative Gifts that Make a Diffrence by Sasha Johnson Its clear that many Maine South students got some phenomena! gifts this last holiday season, like a Playstation 3, a cell phone, or a laptop. Global warming hurting the Earth
by Nicky Priovolos The global warming issue is not a new one. We've all heard it before, but most of us brush it off, claiming that it doesn't matter because we're not going to be around for it anyways. The truth of the matter is that global warming has already begun and it is leaving a mark on the world. There are a number of things that can lead to global warming. The simplest way is through pollution. As pollution adds up, heat is trapped at the Earth's surface, engulfed by pollution. Another known source contributing to global warming is the increase of greenhouse gases, which among others include carbon dioxide. It has been foretold that in a hundred years from now, the average temperature of the Earth will have changed two-and-a-half degrees Fahrenheit to 10.4 degrees. Two degrees is not a significant number However, when you look at it in perspective, the Ice Age ended as a result of a nine-degree increase. Although it may not sound like a problem, it will have serious consequences for the world. Already, there are signs of global warming.

6 Is music meant to be shared? [iijutiiw
FEBRUARY
by Ashley Koda Illegal downloading: is it really that bad? The law says yes, while those who participate in the act of stealing music say no. Some bands approve of it, others do not. Are these people criminals? Should they be punished for listening to music that artists have created for the sole purpose of the population to enjoy? Although there are better methods to hearing ones' beloved songs—such as buying them off iTunes or Napster or even buying the album—illegally downloading music off of Limewire or Bearshare seems to be the most convinient way out. According to the Rl A A (Recording Industry Association of America), not all who participate in this criminal act are sued. They focus on those that download and share over 1,000 songs. In the year 2003 alone, the industry sued 261 people who illegally downloaded copyrighted music.
Beyond Cynicism
In 2005, MGM sued Grokster, similar to Limewire, for allowing it's users to download music without a fee. The Supreme Court ruled against Grokster and stated that software developers that intend to share music for free and have taken steps to attract more users to their site are partaking in the illegal activity of "P2P" (peer to peer) sharing. The RIAA has been trying to get users to stay away from software that promotes file sharing and look towards legal downloading services such as iTunes, eMusic, MSN Music, MusicMatch, Yahoo! Music, and Rhapsody. Depending on how much music one would want to download, these methods can be quite costly. iTunes, for example, has a collection of over 1,500,000 songs and it charges $0.99 per track and between $9.99 and $13.99 per album. The cheapest alternative to iTunes that doesn't involve illegal downloading is Yahoo! Music, which charges users $0.79 - $0.99 per track or $4.99 - $6.99 a month

for a subscription. It doesn't seem as if the RIAA has done much to regulate the music downloading business, but, according to the No Electric Theft (NET) Act, violators can be imprisoned for up to six years, pay up to $250,000 in fines, or both. Even though all of the lawsuits up to date have been filed against those that share over 1,000 songs, the RIAA is capable of catching and suing those that have even less in their library. Some artists, however, have openly supported illegal downloading of their music because they feel that their music is meant to be shared and enjoyed. These artists do not worry as much about the financial reprecussions as they do about their fanbase. Many artists, however, do not share these sentiments. Whether you stick to Limewire or go the legal route, be aware that there are consequences for those who disobey the law, even if you believe that artists should be willing to share their music with anyone who wants to listen. by Ron Feiereisel

by Alexa Karas As we embark on a new year it is time to start trying out some new restaurants. The newest, cutest spol that 1 have found is a little diner off the Chicago Avenue "L" stop called the Windy Citj Cafe. Small, yet comfortable, this restaurant serves just as many sit-down meals as it does take-out. The nxim is .set up like a fastfood restaurant with the menu and prices on boards above the register. However, if you have enough time to stick around and eat, the host will walk >ou to another room where tables are usually taken up with neighborhood regulars, adding to the comfortable atmosphere. The menu is filled with many lunch and breakfast dishes that will fill you up because of the large portions and lov\ prices. The service is very friendly, but also very fast. The onh downside is that sometimes you feci like thc> arc trjing to rush you out before you finish eating. For breakfast, there is a wide variety of omelette choices including a Grecian delighu the spinach and feta cheese omelette, or a Mexican tvvi.st, the Ole Omelette with sausage, jalapcno pepper, onion, and chcddar cheese. I recommend coming for lunch because the delicious, crisp salads, fresh wraps and panini are w orth the trip. Last time I went to the Windy City Cafe. 1 enjo_\ed the Wind\ City lurkcy wrap with diced tomatoes, Swiss cheese, and mayo. On the side, the wrap is served with a tangy Italian dressing that compliments the other ingredients. I also enjoy the turkey, ham, and bacon panini because the American cheese melts between the meal and the bread is toasted pcrtcctly, holding the entire sandwich together The chicken noodle soup is full of thick noodles and the fries are crispy without sacrificing quality potato on the inside. The average price of a sandwich is between $4..'>0 and $6..50. The panini and wrajjs include a bowl of soup or a side of fries, which rounds the meal out nicely. Windy City Cafe also has a large selection of burgers and chicken breast for those of you who prefer a grilled sandwich. To find this restaurant, take the Blue Line to Chicago Avenue. Once above ground. Windy City Cafe .should be easily visible on the comer of Chicago and Milwaukee.

The Legend of Zelda shines through "Twihght99 by Tom Berg To many fans of the Zelda series, the development of "The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess" was a roller coaster ride. Originally scheduled to be a Nintendo Gamecube game to be released in winter of 2005, "Twilight Princess" was delayed twice and then announced to be released on Nintendo's next-generation console, the Wii. during its launch, and then the Gamecube shortly thereafter. The expectations that this game had to live up to were immense. Did "Twilight Princess" live up to the hype set for it? You bet it did, and then some. Like Zelda games before it, "Twilight iS Princess" has no voice acting for the characters, but it plays out more cinematically than its predecessors, using more plot twists and other devices in its story. Also, the game makes extensive use of facial expressions, which help you connect with the characters. Overall, the story is fantastic and very worthy of a game of this caliber. One of the hypes that "Twilight" had to live up to was its control scheme. The controls are actually very simple and intuitive. Menus in the game are as simple as pointing and clicking. Switching items is a breeze. Many items that require aiming, like the bow and arrow, use a point-and-click interface as well.
which is very accurate and easy to get used to. The good news is that the swordplay is very sensitive, which means it only takes a flick of the wrist to wield your sword. As your character progresses through the game, he can learn more complicated sword moves.
"Twilight Princess" is similar to every Zelda game before it in that it involves exploring many dungeons to earn key items and relics needed to advance the story. The dungeons in this game are amazing. Each dungeon has elaborate puzzles that will keep you thinking, but are balanced evenly so as not to get you frustrated. The dungeons are stuffed with enemies, so the action-packed feeling is never lost. Perhaps the best improvement on the dungeon design is the bosses. They are huge.
epic battles that are extremely fiin to beat. Tliere's more to this game than the dungeons, however. In between dungeons, there are various quests you can do to advance the story or strengthen your character. These sections add variety, but some of them feel a bit rushed, like several sections where you must complete several objectives while in wolf form. But on the other side of the spectrum, some of these are extremely fun, like several horseback combat sequences. Since "Twilight Princess" was originally intended to be a Gamecube game, I was concerned about how the graphics would compare to games out today. My doubts were lifted when I began playing the game. The graphics were simply stunning. "Twilight" makes great use of beautiful lighting effects, and the "twilight realm," in particular, looks eerily beautiful. Also, the game sounds great. It makes great use of new orchestral music, while also using tracks from previous "Zelda" games to add a nostalgic feeling to it. Which leaves us with the question presented several issues ago: how does "Twilight Princess" stack up against "Ocarina of Time"? "Twilight Princess" surpasses the standards set by its predecessor. "The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess" is one of the best games in a long time, and a game that nobody should miss, even if they Ye new to the series.
Spring fashion forecast looking khaki by Courtney Vinopal Even though h may be the dead of winter, it's never too early to start thinking about spring clothes. Magazines are already bursting with warm-weather fashion, and designers have thought up some extremely amazing looks for the coming season. It seems that the sixties are back for spring, with simple, mod minidresses all over the runways. Chloe had lots of these minidresses at the spring show, with cute details such as round Peter Pan collars and eyelet trim. Ralph Lauren also proved that dresses are no longer just for a night out by belting a plain, long white shirt and turning it into a classic shirtdress. These "everyday" dresses are extremely cute and one of the easiest looks to put together, as Just adding flats or flip flops completes the outfit. Another big trend seen in the spring shows has been wide-leg pants. With the skinny-pant
silhouette dominating fall runways, designers went to the opposite extreme this season by pairing wide trousers with tighter tops for a look that is effortlessly chic. Another must-have for spring? It seems that khaki frenches are taking on a new shape, as seen on the runways of Burberry. Models wore A-line khaki coats, as well as shorter swing coats. Rounded collars and wide sleeves gave the khaki coats a fresh look, and black buttons stood out against the neutral colors. Designers favored more neutral tones this spring, with punchy brights accenting the outfits. DKNY was a prime example of this, using mostly dark blue and khaki, while not forgetting to add bright orange, purple, and yellow pieces. While lots of solid colors were seen, wild prints are still in, as seen in the Anna Sui show. Almost everv' outfit she featured mixed prints or materials for a craz> look that
somehow worked. Tribal prints and Indian prints were big, as well as the spring standard material eyelet. Both Prada and Marc Jacobs used pieces in their shows that are sure to become the next big thing. Prada put wide, jewel-toned headbands on every model, which are sure to show up on everyone's heads soon. The headbands were not only practical but also pulled together the looks. The infinhely cool Marc Jacobs made moccassins look beyond cute by pairing them with almost everv' outfit he showed. They added a laid back and outdoorsy vibe to all of the ensembles. Despite the fact that these designers have some impractical outfits in their shows, their ideas pave the way for what we'll be seeing on the racks come May. Start thinking about spring clothes now; the bright, fresh ideas can help you escape from the heavy-knit winter blues.

Extortion on the college admissions scene by Bettina Chang After weeks of college-application-induced stress, the beginning of second semester was a pleasant break from ominous impending deadlines. That is, until I realized that I had to apply for financial aid and scholarships. Luckily, my family is not in dire financial straits, but who wouldn't want some help paying the 50,000 dollars a year that college costs nowadays? Besides, after the spending spree known as "applying to college," I would appreciate any amount of money to make up for what was extorted fi-om me by the college admissions process. Don't get me wrong: I realize that as a privileged kid, I sound incredibly whiny when I complain about paying application fees. But as I wince at these superfluous charges, I can't help but wonder how people with less resources can stomach it. And regardless of financial background, it is still unfair for institutions to charge heinous amounts of money to students who are simply asking for a chance at a brighter future. Let's start with the College Board. It is fantastic for them to provide such a fair and accurate standardized test from which a student's intellect can be judged—but the cost to take the test (or to test standby... or to register late... or to add extra subject tests...)
"... After the spending spree known as 'applying to college,'/ would appreciate any amount of money..."
seems higher than necessary. Not only that, but a student must also pay money to send score reports to every college he/she applies to, plus certain scholarship programs. It could take anywhere between three to five weeks to send the scores, but hey, for an
extra 30 bucks, it will miraculously get there in two days. I'm sorry, but have you ever two-day shipped a few pieces of paper? It doesn't cost that much. And let's not even dive into the irony ofthe College Board's CSS PROFILE financial aid form having a five dollar registration fee as well as another 18 dollar per-school delivering

for a fee. Not only that, but ACT.org keeps no record of which scores you have already sent out, so if you don't quite remember and are pressed for time, you have no choice but to cough up another eight dollars per test per college. And let's not forget the colleges themselves. Seriously, what do they do with the money they hoard from application fees? When my THAT mother saw the credit card bill for December, she thought I had bought her a really expensive Christmas present. Merry Christmas, Mom, I applied to six colleges. Lastly, there's the small, but pesky, two dollar transcript request charge from none other but Maine South itself. This money is meant to cover stamps, envelopes, and processing. But even when the student provides the stamp and envelope, the charge is still incurred. Considering that the CRC hands out free red envelopes for teacher recommendations, I A-y n r \ don't see why we must pay extra «SS» fcsssa for transcript envelopes. T h e r e ' s no way around it: applying to college is an

fee. Considering that the Free Application For Student Aid (FAFSA) is, obviously, free, I don't understand why some colleges insist on students submitting the CSS PROFILE instead. If someone really does need financial aid, why would they have extra money to apply for it? Now we'll move on to the American College Test, which provides a website that is as ftill of scams as a "Free XBox 360" offer. First, they try to confuse you with the funky music and animated polka dots on the homepage. At least the College Board website is understandable. Plus, one score report from the College Board includes all of your SAT and SAT subject test scores. For the ACT, this is not so. If you scored higher on math the first time around, but better in science the second, you guessed it: send both, or you risk losing a spot in your first choice college. While juniors in high school nervously pace back and forth in their rooms, wondering what two-digit number they've hopefulK garnered from the test, ACT exploits their vulnerability and allows them to see their scores early: again.
ofthe money taken from students is put to good use, I cannot help but feel cheated by all these organizations, profitable or non-profitable. It's not necessarily the amount of money we are asked to pay, but that they are exploiting the fact that we don't have a choice, because nothing takes higher priority than getting into college. This drives the demand for these items up, which allows these monopolistic companies to keep prices high in order to gain the highest profit. This is something I learned in AP Economics, a class for which I am paying 166 dollars to the College Board in order to get credit once I do attend college. Maybe it's not even the money: I realize that many of these fees can be waived when proof of financial need is given. But what it does take is time—time that we don't have while we are trying to keep our senior year grades up, juggling the biggest amount of activities and leadership positions, and writing the best essays of our lives. After all. when we're done dealing with this costly application marathon, we all still have to actually get into a college, too.

The ABCs of A Biased Classroom by Michael Coyne An interesting cultural divide currently faces America. Most citizens mistake this divide for that same old "Democrats vs. Republicans" battle. What Fm about to tell you may shock you: this cultural divide is much more deeply-rooted than that same old battle. This is a battle that many of us wage silently, largely because most of us don't even realize that we've taken a side. We don't realize it because our own education is rapidly turning against traditional values. Sorry to break this to you, but the public school system has largely become a tool of the Far-Left. How many Hawk Pride lessons have we had that focused on "tolerance"? Several. How many times has an English or History teacher given you a lecture on true values of absolute right and wrong? Never. The flimsy mantra of "right for you" or "right for me" constantly wins in the classroom, and is supported by teachers. In today's tilted society, one constantly hears about "tolerance" and "the intolerant Right." Do not ever buy into that propaganda, readers. The true definition of tolerance is "allowing someone to exist unhindered." By the end of a Leftist propaganda lesson, you'll think that the word means "to readily accept absolutely anyone under any circumstances." True tolerance, in the form of patience or allowance, is good. But its manipulated cousin, which really translates to blind acceptance, can be a dangerous, self-destructive notion. It's like "political correctness" on steroids: everyone's happy and ft-iendly, as long as no one ever questions total acceptance of anyone, regardless of what he ore she does in society. A 2005 study called "Politics and Professional Advancement Among College Faculty" found that 72 percent of teachers at American universities proclaimed liberal affiliations. Only 15 percent said that they were conservative. The remainder was apolitical or independent. A survey of high school teachers returned similar figures. Those numbers are shocking. More than half of the nation's population is conservative or Republican, and yet our generation is being educated—or reeducated, depending on how you see it—by the "tolerance"-enforcing left. If numbers don't convince you, we'll take an example from a social science textbook
used right here at Maine South. America is a capitalist system, in which businesses are privately owned and operated. The polar opposite of capitalism is socialism, in which the government exercises total control over business and industry. Students may recall that the IWW (Industrial Workers of the World) was a socialist organization active around the turn of the century. "The Americans," a textbook published by McDougal Littel, states that "the [IWW]...gave dignity and a sense of solidarity to unskilled workers barred from other groups." Painting such an organization as positive is dangerously subjective. True, this textbook does give the basic information, but a largely anti-American/pro-socialist opinion is also injected into classrooms full of impressionable students, students who are treating these words as fact. Subjectively painting socialists as heroes is unacceptable. A tool of public education has no right to force any opinion— liberal or conservative—onto students. What ever happened to balance? Shouldn't our public education system work to show both sides of the culture battle fairly, as neutral informers, rather than partisan propaganda spinners? We come to class to get the facts, not a predigested analysis. Don't mistake this assessment for an attack; it's not. This is meant to inform. Personally. I have nothing against any department or educational tool at Maine South, and I fully support anyone who has the courage to stand up for what he or she believes. However, there is a time and a place to take those stands. A list of those times and places would not include a textbook that is given to students who are looking to learn fundamental facts, rather than opinions, from a trusted education system. Do not ever buy into blatant propaganda, regardless of who it comes from, because apparently, you aren't even safe from it in school. Don't blindly follow your teachers' opinions, or even mine, for that matter. Remember: if it sounds politically charged, it probably is. Find your voice and call it out. My job as a commentary writer is to give you my opinion, which I always back up with hard facts. Giving opinions is not a teacher's job. Their job is to give you raw, unbiased facts; you're smart enough to form your own opinions.

Girls' gymnastics finish season strongly by Erin Mulligan As the gymnastics season comes to an end, the most difficult challenge has been saying goodbye to the five seniors, Carly Derec. Kristin Grabowski, Melissa Jesski, Danielle Tortillott, and Olya Witkowsky, who have done gymnastics for all four years at South. Towards the bea innins of the season, the gymnasts were off to a difficult start. As most people know, injuries are common in gymnastics. This year, three of the seniors had unfortunately injured themselves. The first was Jesski, one of the eight girls on varsity, who had to sit out in a few practices and meets due to spraining both of her ankles on the uneven bars. The second injury was to Tourtillott, one of the captains, who sprained her ankle on a "full twist" on floor. Finally, the second captain, Witkowsky broke both of her arms and had surgery on her left arm, due to a fall on the uneven bars. All three girls were important assets to the team, and their not competing hurt it. Although Witkowsky wasn't able to physically compete
or practice throughout the entire season, she still supported the team by going to practice and cheering the girls on in meets. Jesskis and Tortillott's determination to grow stronger was shown, and in no time, the two girls were competing again. The team as a whole improved so much since 2005. On the frosh/soph level, they've had a streak of wins so far with no losses. The JV has only lost once. Varsity level has won three out of four dual meets. In the "Star Is Bom" Invitational, the varsity team placed first out of twelve other schools, including Niles West, Wheeling, Lake Forest, and New Trier, the next four high placing teams. They achieved this victory with an overall score of 60.950. Their vault score was 15.350, a fourth place score; the bars score was 14.700, in third; in floor, their score was 15.300, eighth; and on beam. 15.600, a first place score. Freshman Jaime Brocker individually placed first on the uneven bars with a score of 7.9. Tourtillott placed first in the balance beam with a score of 8.1. Another freshman on the Varsity level, Sandy Burke, placed sixth with a score of 7.5. Nicole
Williams tied for fourth with 7.950. Another great team finish was at the John Brinkworth Memorial Maine West invitational, where the Hawks placed fourth overall out of 13 schools. Tourtillott placed in each event, including fourth place in one all around competition. They were fairly successful in their dual meets. Varsity beat Fenton with a 112.65 score. They defeated Niles West with a score of 119.2, as well as Maine West with 113.85. GBS beat them, though, 131.15 to 121.25. This team has grown, not just in scores, but as friends too. Through the tough beginning and now towards the end, this team has grown as a family, with any setbacks only making them ultimately stronger. With Jaime Brocker and Danielle Tourtillot off to Sectionals after a great showing in Regionals. State will take place February 17. As for next year's team, things are looking good for the Hawks, as shown by their impressive number of wins on the ft-osh/soph team, as well as on JV. The seniors will be missed dearly, nonetheless.

A new sport has rolled into Chi-town. The Chicago Shamrox are the new force in the National Lacrosse League. Lacrosse is a relatively smaller sport when compared to the juggernauts of basketball, baseball, and football. Even soccer seems to have a biggerfi^anchiseof fans and players—as of right now, at least. However, lacrosse's rise to stardom is well underway. The brand new state-of-the-art Sears Centre in Hoffman Estates (seats 9,500) has already been built and is under use primarily for Shamrox games. The Shamrox are off to a thunderous start, winning their home-opener inft^ontofjust over 8.000 spectators and going on to a record of 3-1. They currently sit atop the East Division. The Shamrox are steaming with their leading scorer, Chris Panos, tallying 10 goals so far, and Jason Clark has 15 assists to date. The goalie, Brandon Miller, has the secondhighest save percentage in the nation at .803—just under Rob Blasdell of the Arizona Sting, who is currently at .820. But. do note that Miller has had to deal with 175 shots—Blasdell has only had 155 come his way. Lacrosse is emerging as a big time sport, but
it is nothing new in human history. Lacrosse has ancient roots tracing back to 15"" centur>

Lacrosse's rules and play combines the hard contact of hockey or football, as seen in the constant checking, and the strategy and intelligence of basketball or soccer, which can be observed in the structure and movement of the player's positions. This unique balance of brains and brawn is what has attracted many followers to the sport from around the nation. Yet. this appealing sport has not spread to Maine South which, unfortunately, does not have a lacrosse team, despite the great athletic pool found roaming the hallways. However, this doesn't spell the end for any hopeful participants. Several somewhat local clubs do exist that teach and organize games; plus, there's always the possibility of creating a Hawks lacrosse team that can potentially dominate the conference and state, just as football has in the past years. Wrestling pins the competition by the Southwards staff
•'Back in Black, Bring Back the Plaque" has been the motto for our 2006-2007 Hawks wrestlers. And they have done just that. With a win at the conference championship and winning the dual meet championship, the Hawks have met almost all their goals. They are seeded third in the regional competition behind York and Lake Park, two formidable opponents, and are going to be led by senior captains Alex Friel (152), Mark Corsello (215), Steve Jaworski (135), and Kevin Contomo(125). The Hawks wrestlers have accomplished great things this season with the help of their "great senior leadership." as coach Fallico put it. Corsello, Friel, "Jaws" Jaworski, Purcell, and the Contomo twins are just a few who have carried the Hawks to many victories. On the agenda for our wrestlers is the individual regional competition. If each individual has a high-scoring match, then the team moves on to sectionals, and finally the state competition. However, if the team does not win as a whole, there's a chance for the top three individuals in each weight class to advance to the sectional and state competitions. The Hawks have gone 7-0 in conference, with wins over Waukegan (73-3), Niles West (49-14), GBS (4912), Evanston (3325), and New Trier (46-18). All our wrestlers are capable of pulling off upsets." said Kalliantassis "We have met all of our pre-season goals so far; our last and final goal is winning the regional," said Brian Storce. "Also, our JV team is so good." said Kalliantassis. "We've been accused of bringing our varsity squad to a JV meet... which wasn't true. This shows our strength on all levels."
