sam bridgeman When I first started this course, I had barely any knowledge of Graphic Design, since I have started I have learned to use Mac programs such as illustrator, photoshop and indesign so now i’m comfortable with working on them, and using tools within the program that I had no previous experience of. This course has also helped broaden my drawing skills. This is something that when I joined the course I was not very good at but since have improved massively. Finally, my ability to be creative has improved also. Now I feel that I am comfortable with coming up with an idea and developing it until I am satisfied with the outcome. Destination: Employment

billie crittenden This course has been a great experience for me; I have met some great people who I’d really like to still keep in contact with. My favorite project has to be Narrative. This is because it was more self directed and we could re-create 3 different illustrations of a story. I also have a very wild imagination and in the future I wish to design children’s books. Throughout this course I have learned so much about design in contemporary society, like corporate branding, advertising and even layout design. I’m extremely excited and keen to start the HND to progress onto the next level of my education. I hope to improve my skills as a graphic designer even further. The grid system is an aid, not a guarantee. It permits a number of possible uses and each designer can look for a solution appropriate to their personal style. But one must learn how to use the grid; it is an art that requires practice. -Joesf Muller Brockman
