Sitka is a fabulous place to get a feel for all that Southeast Alaska offers. Learn about its past at the Baranof Castle State Historic Site, where Alaska was officially transferred from Russia to the United States in 1867. Focus on Osaka’s single most important attraction — Osaka Castle, whose landmark tower has become a symbol for the city. General Toyotomi Hideyoshi, the so-called ‘Napoleon of Japan,’ built the original castle in 1583 and although it was intended to be Japan’s most impenetrable fortification, it was destroyed just 30 years after being finished. Lightning struck the castle that replaced it, burning much of it to the ground. In 1931, the castle tower was reconstructed once again, and even from a distance you will see it lording over the grounds. Despite the heavy damage that the castle has suffered over the centuries, many of the key features of the castle complex remain intact. If you can only see one attraction that defines Osaka culturally, historically and architecturally, it is Osaka Castle.

The former port of Sparta in antiquity lies in mainland Greece’s Peloponnese region amid arid landscapes and white-sand beaches. We’re thrilled to announce an exciting update regarding our private transfer services. For new bookings made from 1 July 2024, Regent will be transitioning to an exclusive partnership with Blacklane, a premier ground transportation provider renowned for its luxury and reliability.

What does this mean for you?

Booking your private transfers just got a whole lot easier. You or your travel advisor can now arrange your chauffeured transfers directly through Blacklane’s user-friendly app or website, giving you the ultimate control and flexibility as to when and where you want to go. You’ll also be able to change and modify your reservation within the app and you will be directly connected with your driver on the day of transfer for easier and more reliable coordination and communication.

Who will be able to use Blacklane?

Guests who choose an Ultimate All-Inclusive Fare with roundtrip economy flights will receive a Blacklane credit up to the equivalent of US$250 per guest (up to US$500 per suite) for private executive chauffeur service. These can be used for home to airport journeys, or to upgrade the complimentary airport to ship transfers. Guests will receive their Blacklane voucher directly, giving you the flexibility to use this credit to cover any transfer needs starting 10 days prior to your cruise up to 10 days post cruise.

In addition, Blacklane will also become the exclusive provider for private transfers for guests who have attained Seven Seas Society Titanium status and above, which entitles you to two free private transfers, and for Regent Suite guests who receive the perk of unlimited private transfers.

What can an up to US$500 per suite credit cover for Blacklane?

The up to US$500 per suite Blacklane voucher will typically cover two journeys, such as home to airport and airport to home, each in a private SUV, carrying up to 5 pieces of luggage. When booking your transfer, you will have the option of what type of car to select, including how much luggage that vehicle can hold, so you can choose based on your unique needs. The credit is yours to apply as you wish and isn’t limited to a set number of transfers or a specific leg of your journey (i.e. ship to airport).

How do I reserve my Blacklane transfer?

About 60 days prior to your sailing, you will receive an email from Regent with instructions and your exclusive voucher code.
