The Acacia Palengke was seeded by the need of our beloved AWS community to respond proactively to the growing uncertainty of food security in the wake of the ECQ.
This community market initiative aims to provide fresh, affordable, all-natural produce and home-made products for the families in our community using the conveniently located, well-sheltered location of the Farm Shed venue.

03
Nutritious & Fresh
To provide variety, freshness, taste, and nutritional value of produce available to the AWS community.
04
To provide an educational platform for our community to learn about the significant benefits of high-quality, locally grown or prepared food products and services.
05
To provide an opportunity for AWS stakeholder groups to work together to build sustainable systems using regenerative design.
06
Intentional Community
To provide a community activity that fosters safe social distancing while still cultivating a sense of community interaction.
Holistic
Mindful awareness that optimum health and wellness require the cooperation of integrated systems to heal, balance, & uplift the whole.
Co-create a safe space for everyone to feel part of the community; where everyone can be heard, contribute our craft, & feel valued. Include cost-efficient options for low-middle-high income levels.
Transparent
Sustainable consumption of goods with minimal impact on the environment, are socially equitable and economically viable whilst meeting the basic needs of the community, now and in the future.
Regenerative qualities thru small-scale production that helps to mitigate climate change impacts from the ground up & from seed to table.
Honesty is the best policy. Say what you mean. Mean what you say. Stand up for your convictions and be brave enough to communicate them in a healthy, harmonious way.
Lead by example, be open to being held accountable to oneself & the community, and whenever possible, take on the responsibility for being part of the solution.

The Waldorf pedagogy is a unique educational paradigm that intrinsically encourages the integration of farming and school activities.
The Farm Shed is a holistic community space that cultivates a community culture for progressive, sustainable , regenerative, and intentional community development.
