Sometimes we start a business, follow the step-by-step someone has laid for us.

Or we create rules in our minds because we gathered proof that there’s certain things that work because of other people’s success and how they’ve done things in their business.

But we sometimes end up depleted, confused and frustrated with how we’ve been doing things.

We end up creating another prison for ourselves.

When I was over working, creating funnels, and spending so much time in the back end of my business creating systems, it was sucking the energy out of me. All of my magic was hidden. I had to work twice as hard to get the same results. I had created a story that I needed to automate everything and have a plan for the next year knowing exactly what I was going to do.

But as soon as the plan was created and I was implementing, I was getting bored doing the same things over & over again and maintaining the plan. It just wasn’t sexy for me.

I understood that my business is my art. There’s a lot of self-expression through it. It has to be in movement.

Your business is going to look very different than the traditional way of operating. Our goal here is to figure out what is your best way of self-expressing your message and the way that brings you the most pleasure.

LEAN INTO FLOW VS FORCEFUL ENERGY.

Flow: Having space in your calendar where you can take yourself out somewhere to allow your creativity to flow. Having an idea of your priorities for the week, but letting yourself achieve them when your energy is up for it. When you feel resistance, let yourself release from the need to figure things out, get to something else and let the universe give you signs, allow space for things to rearrange themselves without you trying to control.

Forceful: Forcing yourself to sit down at your desk to write content when you just don’t feel like it, not inspired. Packing your calendar with tasks, back to back, without having play time in your schedule. Trying to control how everything will go. Doing things how you used to, because you think that this is the only formula of success, when clearly you’re not feeling it anymore. We are beings that are constantly evolving, we can’t expect things to stay the same.
