It’s trending like no other single style we ’ ve seen in more than a decade. It’s the “ it” look of today that comes across our desks from designers doing city and countr y homes for client s across Canada and America. You know the look. Black and white kitchens with miles of veined marble, of ten black window mullions and frames, blond wood floors, light wood millwork throughout and walls and furniture in mostly sof t, layered neutrals. You can see the hallmarks of the look in these three fabulous homes. But you can also see how, in the hands of three talented designers, each house takes on a distinc t personality through the clever use of materials, colour and singular fabrics. See if you can spot the ways that each house shines on it s own and why we and their owners love them so much.
