Creating a calm and inviting space was the priority when renovating our family home, and the kitchen was no exception. Using different textures and timeless styles are always key design moves for me. You can’t really go wrong with a Shaker-style kitchen and a traditional stone floor! I think combining new pieces with old finds has really helped to make the kitchen feel as comfortable and relaxing as any other area in our home, and that’s really important to me. @bayardhouse_
THROUGH THE AGES

I’d describe our home as a vintage tick list, with a mix of rustic, cottage, French and Victorian features. Our living room sways more towards an elegant vintage theme, with warming peach tones and French antique-inspired furniture. Our cabinet and mantle are full of vintage finds, each with a story and sentiment behind them. My style, as well as my love of finding treasures for our home, has definitely been passed down to me by my gran. It’s something I have done since I was young! @myvintagethriftedhome

WINDOW WONDER
We’ve been renovating our Edwardian home since 2019. We’ve done a lot of the work ourselves so it’s been a steep learning curve but we’ve still really enjoyed it. Our bathroom isn’t huge but it’s full of lovely original features, such as this beautiful diamond window. In fact, I fell in love with the house as soon as I saw it! We added a scaffold board shelf to display some of my accessories and upcycled the vanity unit with Hornblower paint by Frenchic. @lovescakeygoodness

SNUG AS A BUG
I wanted my living room space to be warm and inviting; a place for me to relax and rest. I love the hygge vibe and boho décor plays a big part in my home too. I love natural wood textures, like rattan and cane, and pastel shades. I’ve just painted the walls with Pink Ground by Farrow & Ball and it’s made this corner cosy in the evenings and fresh during the day! @rachs_home_n_life
