Hermès of Paris Worldwide Working closely with Hermès’ inhouse design team, Paris-based RDAI, Spacesmith is acting as executive architect on several projects worldwide. The scope ranges from 200 sf to 15,000 sf and includes new boutiques, full store renovations, improvements, and temporary locations.
Carolina Herrera New York, NY Spacesmith acted as architect of record on the renovation of Carolina Herrera’s 7,000 sf, three-story flagship store in a landmarked district on Madison Avenue. Our team worked closely with interior designers Studio Mellone and Chiara de Regi.
Global Brands Group New York, NY Spacesmith worked closely with B&Co. on the build-out of 100,000 sf of space in the Empire State Building which consolidated several women’s apparel brands, whose offices had been scattered around NYC’s garment district, onto one floor. This project is LEED CI-Gold certified.
Avon Executive Suites New York, NY Our team combined the tradition and history of Avon with a modern feel to create a warm, welcoming environment that is gracious, efficient, and functional. The design is open and spacious, allowing light in and views out through glass walls and open vistas.
Li & Fung Jimlar Shoe Corp. New York, NY Spacesmith was enlisted by Li & Fung as executive architect for the build-out of 100,000 sf in the Empire State Building to house their footwear division. Key elements include work areas for the various brand designers, private offices, and showrooms. This project is LEED Platinum certified.
Cremieux New York, NY Located in a landmarked district in Soho, the design marries the brand’s classic sporting style with the neighborhood’s urban chic. Our team designed custom made displays that include adjustable shelving and hanging racks.
Bonpoint NYC and Houston, TX Spacesmith collaborated with Bonpoint’s design team to establish the overall layout and customer experience of each boutique. In both locations, shoppers flow through a succession of imaginative rooms filled with fantasy and interactive experiences.
Mulberry New York, NY Spacesmith provided full professional services as executive architect for Mulberry’s New York flagship store, housed within two floors of a landmark building in Soho. The design concept was that of a bedazzled jewel box within a 14 foot historic shell.
EDUN New York, NY Spacesmith designed the new headquarters for EDUN to house their offices and showroom in an open, sunlit space. Representing EDUN’s commitment to sustainability, the design kept construction to a minimum and implemented reclaimed materials and furnishings.
Avon Store & Image Room New York, NY Avon engaged Spacesmith as the specialty design team for their employee company store and image room used for public relations. Located in their new corporate headquarters, these highly visible spaces reflect Avon’s image: sophisticated, natural, and understated. This project is LEED Gold certified.
Ralph Lauren Worldwide Spacesmith acted as contract architect for Ralph Lauren’s corporate offices and showrooms providing full programming, design consultant coordination, and construction administration. Projects included offices, showrooms, warehouse space, and production facilities worldwide.
Marchon New York, NY Fashion oriented and technologically advanced, this manufacturer and distributor of eyewear and sunwear engaged Spacesmith to renovate and expand their NYC headquarters. A connecting stair joins two floors holding showrooms and glass walled private offices which frame open workspaces.
Ladurée New York, NY Spacesmith worked closely with Ladurée and their in-house design team Panetude on the build-out of their new retail store and restaurant in New York’s historic Soho district. The space is clearly divided into four zones: a pastry shop featuring their world famous macarons, a tea room, a full service restaurant, and an outdoor patio.
Donna Karan New York, NY Spacesmith restructured an underutilized penthouse space into Donna Karan’s stunning showroom for their shoe and accessory departments. Our team utilized modular display fixtures that can be modified and re-arranged.
