The Mineral Spa - a destination day spa in the heart of Victoria’s spa country - is an idyllic restorative haven and renowned as one of the most acclaimed and awarded natural mineral spas in Australia. Our heavenly Soft Pack beds offer another dimension of relaxation. Cocooned in a water-heated blanket, the bed is silently lowered as a warm, pleasurable and almost weightless feeling gradually envelopes the body. You’ll experience the sensation of floating in a light, peaceful environment without being submerged in water. The Soft Pack beds relieve joint pressure and allow sore muscles time to rest and renew. The specially heated wrap aids the body in the absorption of treatment products thereby increasing the effectiveness while relaxing the mind, body and soul. Leave the crowds behind and enjoy the time honoured ritual of ‘taking the waters’ in the relaxing and peaceful environment of The Retreat. The Retreat The Retreat is an indoor/outdoor mineral water therapy zone with sundeck, guest lounge and open fireplace. Soak away stress and tiredness in one of the only spas in Australia to use 100 % natural mineral spring water. Two 37°-39° mineral water spa pools revive and relax stressed bodies, while a cooler plunge pool invigorates. The transition from hot to cool stimulates the circulatory system. These covered pools are on The Retreat veranda, overlooking beautiful landscaped gardens. The lavender-infused basalt stone sauna is the only one in the southern hemisphere and has to be experienced to be believed. The hot rocks are plunged into the copper cauldron filled with essential oils. Step into the infrared detox box and be engulfed by gentle warmth that activates the body’s natural cleansing process. The Mineral Spa is located within the grounds of Peppers Mineral Springs Retreat, a grand 1930s Art Deco hotel with 29 hotel and garden rooms, 7 self-contained Villas and the heritage listed 4 bedroom Villa Parma. Located on the upper floor of the hotel, there are four room styles: Classic, Spa, Deluxe Spa, and The Terrace Room. Each is finished in modern dÊcor and many rooms have balconies and romantic two person spa baths. Tucked away behind the Hotel are the Garden Classic and Garden Spa Rooms. Spacious interiors provide a sense of warmth and vibrancy, with extra‑comfortable beds and a private outdoor terrace. The Garden Spa Rooms also feature a private outdoor spa.
