Great tools for Web Design and Web Development

There are a number of new tools in the market to help in web design and web development.

These tools have been created to help make a web designer’s job easy regardless of whether they are interested in the front end of crafting websites or in the backend programming side.

Some of the new web design and development tools include:

Foundation3 This tool is for the front end framework and allows a developer to have a powerful template and great starting point for creating responsive web designs. It assists in sifting through thousands and thousands of fonts by letting the developer compare between multiple styles and even allows for the stylisation of certain fonts. This tool features over 23,000 fonts from font deck, Google, fonts.com, and typekit. A designer or developer can organise fonts per project and have direct access to all of the Google fonts without having to download them individually.

Typecast keeps track of every web design decision that is made and assembles the typographic style guide behind the scenes hence offering teammates and clients a detailed visual record of the developer’s fonts, styles and colors. It includes simple visual controls which let a designer design by eye and control a host of properties which include the text size, measure, line-height and margins.
