Student-Athlete Support Services (SASS) is committed to providing our student-athletes with the academic tools necessary to be successful in the classroom, and to prepare them for their future. Our goal is for each and every student-athlete to leave MSU with a meaningful degree, as well as a plan for employment or postgraduate study.

INVEST IN CHAMPIONS ‘Victory for MSU’. It’s not just our fight song, but a source of pride for all Spartans when our student-athletes and coaches celebrate a championship effort. Often viewed as the front porch of the university, Michigan State University Athletics brings together alumni, fans, and all aspects of campus. As the fundraising arm of MSU Athletics, the Spartan Fund serves as a link between the strategic initiatives of the athletics department and the philanthropic passions of 15,000 transformational donors. Through annual, facility, and endowment gifts, donors are creating opportunities in the classroom, in competition, and in the community for nearly 800 MSU student-athletes in 25 varsity sports. These opportunities ultimately allow Spartan studentathletes to earn a world-class education while playing the sport they love and utilize the life skills learned to propel them to success beyond the banks of the Red Cedar. You can make a profound difference in the lives of each Spartan student-athlete. Make a gift today and invest in a championship experience.
