Transportation Levy Is Key Issue For Council

The key story in this year’s City Council election in Districts 6 and 7 is the position on next year’s transportation levy renewal. They need to commit to ensuring that the bridge is in the levy. If not, probably another seven years goes by. They must additionally commit to opposing the levy if it reaches the ballot without the bridge. This is to ensure their colleagues don’t give them an out by allowing them to vote no.

If the bridge is not in the levy, it will be clear the city has no intention of replacing it. Next year’s levy should be the bridge levy. Soon you will need drones to deliver your paper.
