NATIONAL THEATRE BACKSTAGE LONDON, UK The Royal National Theatre, short National Theatre or even shorter NT, is one of the most prominent venues in the UK. Right at the banks of the Thames, it has also made its name in recent years by broadcasting plays live into cinemas around the World. The National Theatre Backstage app gives you a free behind the scenes look with videos and photos. But you can also buy the digital programs to various productions of the NT, perfect if you can’t watch the play in the theatre itself.

OPÉRA ROYAL DE WALLONIE LIÈGE, BELGIUM For a small country, Belgium certainly outperforms when it comes to opera houses. Belgium is home to four notable houses but it's the Opera Royal de Wallonie's app that takes central stage. The virtual tour of the foyer's architectural masterpieces alone makes the app worth the download, but the ability to follow all of the social media channels and read up on their productions brings it to life further. When it comes to the Royal Theater of Madrid, the question isn't who has performed there, but rather, who hasn't?
