Mr Mrs Keefe This was a interesting job one of the first problems we had was with the floor when we removed the old floor tiles the screed decided to come up as well, we had to use a cement base glue over the old screed then re-level the floor with screed levelling compound 32 bags later we had the floor spot level ready for the new tiles to go down, but like any job if the preparation is not up to scratch you don't get the results that we managed with this particular installation, I’m personally proud of this installation because of the floor problem and the challenge it presented. The kitchen is Astor in-frame kitchen with black quartz worktops to the outside of the kitchen and red quartz to the centre island. Range master cooker and all the kitchen appliances are Siemens.

Some bedrooms and bathrooms pictures Of installations over the last couple of years on page 18 the T.V drops down from the top box above by remote control, when we install bathrooms we don't like any visible pipe work if we can help it, but with the right planning anything can be achieved, my aim is to always keep the customer happy and to inform and discuss with them as the project proceeds.
20 Mr Mrs Basset The use of RGB LED lighting has a profound effect on this bedroom installation allowing the customer to set the ambiance of the bedroom. You are able to set custom colours as well as preselected colours, you can also dim the LED with the remote. The back wall we used a commercial grade short pile fur, which is amazing in it’s self, you can brush the fur to change the look of the back wall Hunter ceiling fan, installed in the centre of the room, works by remote control, you can also operate the main lights attached to the ceiling fan, which also dim, so you can really have full control over the ambience of the room setting the mood to your mood.

22 Let me introduce myself, my name is Ivan Spencer I’ve been in the kitchen, bedroom and bathroom industry for the last 29yrs, My first job was with William Ball Kitchens at this particular company I was in there factory, after a few months I knew the factory life was not for me, I leant all I could for the next three years, in this time I use to design and build furniture for family and friends family’s. Once I left William Ball, I went to work for a local kitchen company called Wood ‘N’ Tops, installing there kitchens. Then the company went bust. Started to look for another job in the kitchen industry and found a Schreiber kitchen furniture showroom looking for fitters, so I applied and got the job, this is where I also leant how to design kitchens, I stayed there for the next 15yrs. After 15yrs at the same company, I decided it was time to move on. I started on my own, apart from 3yrs where I joined one of my friends kitchen manufacturing company, my role there was to change how the company worked, the first thing was to get rid of all the old machines and update with new CNC machines and train the staff how to use the machines and change how they worked. Once this was completed I left to carry on with what I was doing before I joined them. I’ve trained many people how to install kitchens over the years, and I still get that job satisfaction when a installation is complete I’ve also work closely with the customer to make sure they understand what’s going on, showing them how to use there appliances and they know where all the shut off valves are. When I start an installation, I like my ground work to be spot on this means electrics, gas and water, all in the right places before I even install one unit, and keeping the workplace neat and tidy, and advising the customer about health and safety especially if there are children about.
