Hello! I am currently a senior in Industrial Design at Western Washington University. I am passionate about creating a positive impact through research and design.
PATH Kinetic Jewelry Designed to sell during the Western Washington University annual IDSA fundraiser and community outreach event. The jewelry features a captured ball that can roll back and forth, which would be impossible to manufacturer as a solid object through any means other than 3D printing.

Artfull Stand Created for a local nonprofit gallery that needed a cohesive display solution for visiting artists. The stand folds completely flat when not in use. Four stands can be created from a 4x4 piece of plywood leaving almost no waste.
Haptic Interaction Worry Stone This project sought to explore a method of meaningful distanced communication. A pair of these devices hold a singular communication tether with one another in order to create a truly unique link between two individuals.

Film Storyline
Chaise Lounge An all-aluminum chair currently under development as part of the capstone form project at Western Washington University. The chair will be manufactured and revealed at Teague in Seattle on June 12, 2014.
4 Way Slider Tablet A physical interaction tool for consumption devices that relies on two independent layered screens to create an enhanced digital experience. Instead of intruding upon the on screen experience, this analog interaction allows the user to expand their screen up, down, left, or right.
Mechanical Prototypes
Fluke Lockout Sponsored by Fluke Corporation to investigate intelligent safety, this active lock was developed to empower maintenance technicians. Backed by an integrated information system, employees can work with the assurance of safety and efficiency.
Carbon Fiber Eames Lounge Originally envisioned by Ray and Charles Eames in the 1940’s out of bent plywood, this iteration was an exploration into modern materials applied to a classic design. The chair is lighter, stronger, and thinner.

Cinematography Through school as well as my internships at True Fabrications and Intel, I have created multiple short films and advertisements. These videos have helped to inform customers, visualize concepts, and explore user experience principles.

Intel Corporation - ID/UX Intern October 2012 - September 2013
As part of Intel’s PC Client Group I championed user experience and product ideation for new generations of hardware and software. I challenged senior/executive management to take risks and explore a wider spectrum of possibilities. I assumed the role of Design Lead for a major industry initiative. My work influenced the project direction and gained the respect of senior leaders within the organization.
