“Avec l’amour maternel, la vie vous fait à l’aube une promesse qu’elle ne tient jamais” écrivait Romain Gary. Vide, solitude, espaces à combler ou à contrario l’éclosion de l’enfant ? Mon père est né en janvier 1950, il est avocat honoraire, grande-gueule, navigateur, rescapé d’un infarctus et d’un cancer. On l’appelle Berni. Le 08 février 2021, ma grand-mère Dorothée s’est éteinte. La vie d’un homme commencerait-elle à la disparition de sa mère ?
I was born in Bordeaux and grew up in the eclectic environment of a vineyard. After having traveled to Lausanne, New-York, Shanghai or even Havana during my studies, I eventually left finance and services worlds to pursue my passion for photography. Self-taught for the first years, I decided to join the Speos Institute in Paris in order to meet with experts and fine-tune my still-image skills. My work explores the borders between documentary, portrait and art photography.
