The Magic Moments children’s charity was set up in 1998 by Alick Smith, the founder of the UK’s largest independent estate agency Spicerhaart, and his wife Val. Until recently known as the Spicerhaart Fantasy Charity Fund, the charity has raised more than £500,000 over the years to support children’s hospices across the UK and there have been plenty of magic moments, thanks to the generous support of well-wishers and fundraisers.
