Buying a home is one of the biggest financial decisions that many people make but surprisingly most will only rely on a mortgage lender’s valuation report to tell them if it’s a good deal or not. Where your client requires a survey we are able to assist and ensure that there are no delays in the sale process if your Client chooses to have a survey completed.
A mortgage lender’s valuation report is not a survey, it’s only a very simple overview of the property to help the lender to decide whether the property is suitable for a mortgage. A survey can sometimes seem like an additional, unnecessary expense but it is better for your clients to know about problems upfront rather than uncover expensive surprises after they have moved in.
Recommending surveys is not only good for your client by giving them the best possible advice but offers you an opportunity to receive additional income. By referring your client to Valunation you can earn additional income as each completed instruction attracts a referral fee. This is for Level 2 instructions and for completed reports for a private valuation report used for probate / matrimonial etc.
The process is simple as Valunation discusses the different types of properties with your client to ensure the right service is provided to them and you earn more money. All you need to do is to send Valunation the client details so contact can be made to discuss what is involved in the service being provided. Valunation will keep you informed of all referrals, so you are aware of which ones are proceeding. A month after the converted referral has completed, you will receive your payment via BACS - what could be simpler!
