the retreat Set on a gentle rise in the tranquil and rolling Sunshine Coast hinterland, Spicers Clovelly Estate has a reputation for exceptional dining and a wonderfully charming and relaxed atmosphere. As you enter the property, passing between the grand figs, shaded jacarandas and groves of magnolias, the stunning frame of a French- provincial style guest house greets on arrival. The estate unfolds in every direction around the main guest house, surrounded by beautiful gardens, rolling grass hills and natural rainforest. A short winding walk through the grounds leads to the west facing Lake View Deck overlooking Lake Baroon, while the garden terrace and pool take in sun-drenched views towards Montville. The Estate transforms with the seasons, from the stunning purples of the blooming jacarandas in spring, to the flaming orange and red hues of the liquid amber trees in autumn and everything in between, offering a beautiful setting year round.
the ceremony Spicers Clovelly Estate is the ideal setting for your intimate garden ceremony, surrounded by lush greenery and a magnificent Jacaranda tree. Our garden arbour is the ideal blank canvas for floral arrangements, while the garden offers space to add your own touch with furniture, theming and decoration. The Estate also offers several covered and indoor ceremony options should adverse weather necessitate.
the reception Spicers Clovelly Estate offers several reception venue options, catering for guests numbers from 24 to 120. Our covered Library Deck is the primary reception space, seating up to 80 guests on the upper and lower deck. Surrounded by trees and gardens, it features clear blinds and heaters for year round comfort. The Long Apron Restaurant is ideal for intimate weddings. Set as a single long banquet table, the restaurant seats 24 and looks out to a small courtyard. Larger weddings are hosted on the front lawn using a marquee. With room for up to 120 guests, our Wedding Coordinator will assist in working with our preferred external suppliers.

Whether you choose a two, three or five course menu for your wedding guests, Head Chef Chris Hagan’s fusion of classic and contemporary cuisine will make your reception memorable for all the right reasons. Complementing each menu are beverage packages expertly curated by Spicers sommelier Peter Marchant.

accommodation Spicers Clovelly Estate offers ten luxurious and spacious suites across two wings, in the main guesthouse. The upstairs Luxury Spa Suite is the perfect bridal suite, with ample room for the bride and bridesmaids to prepare. The retreat also features the French Cottage - a three bedroom self-contained house, perfect for other members of the bridal party or close friends and family.
