Spicers Hidden Vale is a gem, an escape that combines the style and comfort of a luxury retreat with the warmest of country welcomes. From the understated elegance of our Homestead to our luxury accommodation, our 12,000 acres of space is the perfect place for your perfect day. Amongst rolling hills and lush bushland, this historic property is just one hour’s drive from Brisbane and 50 minutes from Toowoomba.

Set in the fertile food bowl of the Lockyer Valley, our hatted restaurant, Homage, celebrates the provenance of locally sourced produce from award winning chefs, top quality Australian and International wines, and genuine Australian hospitality.

CEREMONY

Spicers Hidden Vale understands that the best weddings are unique and personal, which is why our ceremony options are flexible and varied, all set amongst the rolling hills and lush bushland.

Our manicured grounds are the perfect setting for your ceremony with a range of popular options ideal for shaded summer weddings, formal occasions and relaxed elegant weddings with wet weather options available. As well as a picture perfect ceremony location, you and your guests have unlimited opportunities for capturing those memorable photographs with endless enchanting backdrops.

Included as part of your ceremony is a signing table and two chairs, 24 guest chairs and use of an easel for your personalised signage.

Of course, you may also choose to conduct your ceremony elsewhere, such as a local church. We can provide information on local churches, including the small Anglican church located opposite Spicers Hidden Vale.

RECEPTION

While our stunning scenery will enchant your guests, of equal beauty are the numerous event spaces, ideal for indoor ceremonies and receptions. Spicers Hidden Vale offers several venues for your pre-dinner canapés and reception to suit various wedding sizes and requirements.

THE BARN

The Barn is the perfect setting for a unique reception. This historical building has an old world elegance within its’ beamed ceilings

and rustic interiors. Extending from the inside out to the paved forecourt, making for the perfect dance floor setting, or for your reception under the stars.

THE HOMESTEAD

With chef-hatted Homage restaurant at its heart, this elegant and bespoke building embraces this historical site with a timeless yet contemporary ambience.

RETREAT EXCLUSIVE USE

It’s hard to imagine a more picturesque, enchanting setting for your wedding than the rolling hills and natural bushland of Spicers Hidden Vale. To ensure your special day is as private and intimate as possible, we only cater for exclusive use weddings. This includes the use of the restaurant and accommodation on your wedding day from 12pm to 10am the following day. It allows you and your guests to feel truly relaxed, knowing that our 12,000 acres of beauty are solely yours to enjoy.

You will be in professional hands all the way, with our dedicated wedding coordinator on hand to help manage the day, assist all other suppliers and answer any questions you may have.

VENUE HIRE FEE

Monday to Thursday - $3,250

A minimum of 34 rooms must be booked on the wedding night. Minimum food and beverage spend $14,500.

Friday or Sunday - $5,250

A minimum of 34 rooms must be booked on the wedding night. Minimum food and beverage spend $18,000.

Saturday - $6,250

A minimum of 34 rooms must be booked on the wedding night with a minimum of 2 nights stay. Minimum food and beverage spend $21,000.

ON THE DAY

We can arrange grazing platters, delivered to your room for you and your bridal party on your wedding day. For your guests, a selection of light options will be available to purchase.

As part of the wedding celebrations, we offer a special wedding rate including accommodation and gourmet breakfast for two. Some rooms allow for additional guests, making use of either a sofa bed or roll-away. Additional rates apply.
