ESSENTIAL FOR HYBRID SYSTEMS Such as the innovative ‘Hybrid Synergy Drive’ that powers Toyota’s popular Prius, or the Honda Civic Hybrid and Insight. With its low viscosity, the ENEOS 0W20 is essential to those systems due to the constant on/off action of the motor. The tight bearing clearances in the Honda Civic are about half of what most engines run. ENGINE OILS How much is your car important to you? If the engine in your car is its heart, then engine oil is its lifeblood.
Like in your life, the life of your car, and its engine depends on the quality of the oil you use in your engine. Together with the veritable revolution in car engine technology with high performance 16-valve engines and turbos, also engine oils needed to evolve as no longer one oil could cater for everyone. Engine oil’s primary role regardless of whether used in motor vehicles such as cars and motorcycles, or heavier vehicles such as buses and commercial vehicles, or even in go-karts, snowmobiles, boats, or lawn mowers engines is to stop all the metal surfaces in your engine from grinding together and tearing themselves apart from friction. Synthetic automatic transmission oil specially developed for new (after 1997) but also older (automatic) transmissions of GM and Ford, as well as many other cars and light motor vehicle manufacturers. It is also suitable for power steering, some hydraulic systems and rotating air compressors where an extremely good fluidity demanded at low temperatures. It has a very high viscosity index and offers resistance against corrosion and foam-building. It has also very good anti-oxidation and anti-wear characteristics. This oil allows easy shifting of gears after a cold start and does not affect seals. ENEOS Super Multi Gear 80W90 Mineral gear oil formulated using the latest sulphur-phosphorus technology. This additive technology assures an excellent protection of the gears against metal-to-metal contact under the most severe conditions, even under shock-loads. Contains special additives to show a superior oxidation and thermal stability and has a good resistance against foaming. Even at higher temperatures an effective lubricating film thickness assures proper lubrication to prevent corrosion and wear. Can be applied in cold conditions.
