1. Google Gizmoz or go to www.gizmoz.com

2. On Gizmoz, click on Create

3. Choose the template

4. Follow the steps on thumbnails on the top

Step 1 - Click on 1 to insert the background On the right hand side, use/choose the pictures for your show from Flickr, Gizmoz Gallery, upload your own images or add a video from YouTube

Step 2 - Click on thumbnail 2 to insert the graphics All the graphics are also on the right hand side

Step 3 - Choose the character’s outfit on thumbnail 3

Step 4 - Click on thumbnail 4 to customize the character On the right hand side panel you can find featured characters, you can use your webcam to capture your face or you can upload your own pictures

Step 5 - Make your Gizmoz talk by clicking on thumbnail 5. There is always the option - text to speech option - just select the Text-to-Speech option and type in the text and the character will read it out for you.

...Step 5 - If you prefer to use your own voice, select the microphone, close and allow. Press Record and speak. Press Play to listen to your recording. Click on Done when you’re happy with the recording. You can also choose the character’s facial expressions by choosing from the different small faces.

Step 6 - Insert the stamp on thumbnail 6 and use the options on the editing panel on the right

Step 7 & 8 - Edit postcard text by typing in the text, customizing colour, animation (optional) and type of font

Step 9 - Insert photos for your slideshow. Once again you can choose from your own pictures, Gizmoz Gallery, Flickr or videos from YouTube.

Step 10 - You can also add sound to your presentation Use the editing panel to find a sound file from your own files, sounds featured on Gizmoz, Flickr or YouTube.

5. Once finished, press on the Save & Publish button Or, on the last thumbnail

6. At the end you can share your presentation via email, Post it on YouTube, Facebook or MySpace, send a link or embed it in your blog or Moodle course by copying the embed code.
