Prayer Conference
Awaking Hope Ministries
Don’t forget our Prayer Conference is coming up right after the new year! Join us January 8th-10th at 7 pm each night as we focus our hearts and attention on Jesus to start 2025. Dinner will be served at 6 pm for a donation of any amount, and child care will be available birth-age 5. Come expecting special teaching from our guest speakers, an impactful time of worship, and an opportunity to seek the Lord for the upcoming year.
Called Retreat is January 4th in Edmond for students in grades 6-12 who feel called to missions work or pastoral/church ministry as a vocation. It will encourage students to develop and explore their next step in following God's call for their lives. The cost is $50 per student. If your child is interested in attending, please sign up on our website at www.spirit.church/signup.
If you have said YES to Jesus, but have not yet been baptized, this is the next step for you! Matthew 28 says, "Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.” Our next baptism opportunities are Friday, January 10th, at 7 pm during our Prayer Conference, and Sunday, January 12th, at 8:15, 9:30, or 11 am. January 17th is our SpiritKIDS BGMC (Boys & Girls Missionary Challenge) fundraising event, Socks on Ice! First-fifth graders will join us for skating with socks on our “rink” right here at SpiritCHURCH from 78 pm! If you don’t have kids at this age, but would like to get involved, our students will need sponsors for their laps around the rink, or a one-time donation!
SpiritYOUTH is attending the Speed the Light tour at Owasso First Assembly January 19th, from 5-9 pm. This is a great opportunity for our students to learn about how they can be involved and make a difference for global missions this year! We will leave from the church at 5 pm, and transportation and dinner will be provided.
